I read that Leicester players have missed 102 games through injury in total. They're in second place on that list, the 'leaders' are on 204, exactly twice as many games.
Can that possibly be down to bad luck? Surely there must be something else going on.
I saw A list that we were top of for games missed this season - but they count all injuries to anyone in the first team squad, incl those who don't start games anyway. Be interesting to see it based on the 11 with the most appearances last season and see how many games were missed by them this season..Can that possibly be down to bad luck? Cry me a river, we had 6 first teamers out last year including Kane and Son at the same time, inarguably our two best players. How do you replace your two top goal scorers?
Em, how is that a good comparison? It's like Kane and Son being out. And then their replacements also being out. So you have to go to the next replacements. For most of the season. Still, I suppose in future we can pick up any post about Kane being injured to say "boo hoo, no other team has lost a striker, just suck it up. No one complains quite like Spurs fans, which is why you're the most hated fans". Which seems to be what is happening in your thread from quite a few of the posters. Or the unhealthy focus on Klopp and how apparently everyone thinks he's a bit of a dick. Which seems to not be the case from my experience - for example most of my United friends were "annoyed" he was a Liverpool manager as they really liked him and wanted him to win, but not with us.

I think you've missed the point a bit (surprise surprise). Last year was just as st as this year,
no fans
covid
messed up schedules
lots of injuries
classless winners
Most fans were ambivalent, fed up and wanted the whole thing cancelled pretty much before mid season. However because Liverpool were in with a shot of winning the title for the first time in 30 years, the unanimous cries of the show MUST go on at any cost from Liverpool fans was deafening.
This year the shoe is on the other foot but it's reality it's no different from last year
Still no fans - check
Still covid - check
Messed up schedules - check
Lots of injuries - check
However because your superior training methods have failed to prevent a few of your players from getting injured this year and you no longer have a shot at the title, you are now ambivalent, fed up and want the whole thing cancelled. Sound familiar?
I really shouldn't have to spell these things out but the total lack of self awareness plus the media still bizarrely fawning over Liverpool, despite them failing pretty miserably so far this year is the reason why Liverpool and it's fans are rapidly becoming the most hated thing in the PL.
