Under normal circumstances he would have at least 3 ahead of him + fabinho.

He doesn't seem to have the pace so no future for him under Klopp once we have any options.
Next season I wouldn't mind seeing a Fab-VvD defensive partnership. I know we'd lose a probably irreplaceable DM but him and VvD would be some partnership I reckon.

Would it be disloyal of me to wonder how absolutely dog dirt he must look in training not to get in the squad?
We've got two keepers on the bench!

I'm not sure how much Davies was bought for the first team. With the youth CBs we've pulled through (who should be pretty well versed in how we play already), our youth team must be equally thin on the ground for defenders!

I have read a few things about FSG selling a minority stake in the club (after a potential IPO was canned in January) in the near future. Talk of $750m being raised. That would be a timely injection of funds.
Eh? It would be for FSG who presumably take the 750 in exchange for surrendering that stake, no guarantee they would use any of the cash and reinvest it in Liverpool
Absolutely, it's their money, they can do what they want with it. It would be odd to take all that cash and not reinvest something into their enterprises though.
It's more likely that any investor buying a £750m stake would also put some extra into the club to invest in the team/facilities.
Agree, FSG taking a stake out more likely to invest in a new investment, you would like the sale to be XX to FSG plus put XX direct into club, eg finish the other 3 sides of the stadium to increase revenue stream for years to come.

Phew, is it 3 points for a win? I’ve forgotten

Curtis Jones so good during the post-match interview. Have to remind myself he's still a 19 year old kid.

He's got a bright future if he keeps his head screwed on.

Nice to see another quality player come through the academy after Trent.

fk Chris Wilder.

Good to get the full 3 points again. Important when we've got Chelsea coming up next.

It was the Blunts' 23rd league loss. Hardly represents a new dawn I fear.

Ok to ok plus.

could very easily have been 4 nil, but equally they had a couple of half decent chances.

He's a 20 year old on loan from another club and is playing without the luxury of integration into the squad and system. I don't know what your expectations are but mine are 'Stephen Caulker'.
