It's looking increasingly like Liverpool under Klopp are the Nico Rosberg of the Premier League. To win the title they had to absolutely turn everything up to 11 and max out every last fibre of their being in order to overcome their rival, and once they did it, once that box was ticked, they were exhausted and mentally broken.

You’re a team of decent footballers not superstars, who succeeded due to a work ethic of being greater than the sum of their parts. Once they are physically and mentally shot they are shown up for what they are and the house of cards comes tumbling

Haha. ‘Nico Rosberg of the PL’

That tickled me.

Liverpool are embarrassing and the excuses from their fans more so

You aren't far wrong but I don't see that as a negative.
It's something to admire and I've no doubt Klopp can do it again, but I do think it will mean he has to change a few players - getting the centre halves back will be part of the job but I think we'll need new blood in midfield and upfront.

All of which is STILL not as embarrassing as grown adults spending their free time trolling supporters of another club now they've lost a few games. rofl

We were crap. Fulham started the game by doing what Chelsea did - exploiting the enormous gap left by the wingback (Williams today) every time he went forward. Again, we were lucky we were facing a team with relatively poor forwards. The gaps in defence in the first half were pretty wide.

Being made to look crap by Chelsea is one thing; Fulham quite another. We were abject. No sharpness, no invention, no creative spark - Jota's shot on that was saved was the only decent move we had all game.

I have no idea what's wrong - and if we're all honest, neither do any of us. It ain't pleasant. But it will get sorted at some point. In the meantime, if we play like that again on Wednesday, Leipzig will get those 2 goals back and possibly more. But who realistically thinks the team as they are at the moment have any chance in the CL anyway?! I think if we beat Leipzig we're only delaying the inevitable.

I wonder if Fulham have ever beaten both Merseyside teams in the same season, let alone beaten them away. They deserved both wins, but this is one strange season. You lot just lack confidence, you’ve got the quality but have lost the plot for now, that’s all.

As much as i am enjoying the slide down the slipper pole, not even Spurs has ever managed 6 home loses on the trot.

How ironic would it be if the two CL finalists dont make it into the comp next year.

So No trolling. i do feel for you. apparent we are top of the league for throwing away winning positions and like your lot mostly to the bottom half of the table

No doubt Woy will give us a spanking in a couple of hours time

Surely you'll throw the league now (Even though it's obviously gone anyway) and just rest the best players for the CL now.

The best players aren't doing the business at all though, I dont think even a rest will reboot them.

This season has shown we have/had an excellent team, but not the best squad. No decent back up when there are injuries and out of form players.
