+1 thought you lot looked much more like yourselves tonight, the transitions from defending to good attacking positions (rather than just possession) were much quicker than I've seen in a long time.

Phillips played well, so pleased for a guy that was on his way out at the start of the season. Now we have 2 CBs, hopefully Fab can stay where he’s meant to be, as that’s the most “Liverpool” I’ve seen us play in ages (apart from the finishing, obviously). Thiago’s long pass to Salah in the first half was sublime. Hopefully that will settle him a bit, too.

Yes that's the first game Thiago hasn't been one of the worst players on the pitch for us.

Any news on VVD? if he's not back in training soon I'm going to assume his rehab isn't going exactly to plan, hasn't it been 6 months now?
