Oi, it ain't over yet hehe
Haha yes I got overly giddy when I saw my name in the heavy heights of 4th hehe

May the best man finish 4th beer
Indeed beer

I'd be gutted if I don't get 4th and miss out on, er, erm, er, you know the, er, glory?
For fairness and I don't just copy your scores hehe ...I'll go first...

hehe
Well done! You two have managed to make Pommy vs GTO-3R a really intriguing last day battle that I'm looking forward to seeing play out as much as the other clashes that are taking place.

Thanks all again for a great 'thon, and to gadge for running with such ruthless efficiency. It's probably the only football thread on here that doesn't descend into chaos every ten posts!

Looking forward to next season already!

Thanks Pommy but I can't take the credit for how great this thread is.

It works so well because it's about the players themselves and not the teams they support.

I like the way all of the contestants park their allegiances at the door before entering...It's what makes the 'thon such an interesting thread that works so well every single year.

Being a worthy past winner I'd just like to say it really is worth the effort every week, the trophy you receive is beautiful and although you only get to keep it for a season, once you have it engraved you feel like a part of history.

Thank you to Gadge and others who have made all this possible.

I swear you were one of those that laughed at my World Cup 2018 Predictathon hi-tech system involving pens and paper.... scratchchin

Perhaps its time for a proper trophy for the winner.

Everyone chips in a quid at the beginning of the season and we get something suitably random like....

We used to get a t shirt every month supplied by PH, then things changed.

Loving your optimism Pommy. biggrin

If I asked everyone for £1 towards running this thing I'd be lucky to gather together enough for a can of coke...and that's with me chipping in too laugh so to get enough for an actual bloody trophy is wishful thinking in extremis.

Great idea though. I have a lovely spot just to the right of the TV where it would look just grand.

I've been looking for something to replace this monstrosity the missus brought home for quite a while...

Bonkers season. Good luck to my fellow relegation candidates.

Thanks Gadge. An almost exemplary season. Stop bickering with idiots online!

If I fall at this final hurdle I only want a year sabbatical so stay on your toes fellow thonners.

It’s seems funny the young lads living and breathing footy daily, Harry and Ryan who must have more knowledge than us olds on here are struggling like me this season and jokers wink like GTO are flirting with the champions league in this most unpredictable of prediction seasons.

I look forward to taking up my seat at Old Trafford next season. It’ll be consolation if I miss out on the ‘thon
