DCL captaincy didn't exactly go to plan...

Ah well. Not a bad first half of the DGW 71 points with hopefully 13 players to play again!

Hoping for a big one.... and Kane to be struck down with gout.

Great first week, Dan, 67 points has got me about 450k overall for this gameweek which I'm okay about. All eleven players to play hopefully, though Cancelo missed out last week. DCL, Traore, Gundogan and Bruno accrued just ten points between them, need those four to step up a bit. Still 2,036th overall.

I’ll take that, I’ve got Dias and Cancelo and my nearest have all got Stones. Everyone’s got Gundugan so it’s not really an issue.

Oof, I'm feeling your pain. Foden always appears a bargain at 6.1m but there are better options out there that won't be glued to the bench for half a season.

Complete waste of my bench boost with various players under-performing, or not even performing at all i.e. benched/injured

Thanks, he certainly has. Quite a few of mine are misfiring right now but he's on fire....

Sadly, his strike partner has gone off the boil somewhat so he might get binned. I'm looking forward three weeks to Gameweek 29 when there are only four games..... I have 3 from City, 2 from Chelsea, Southampton and Everton & one from Man United so none of them will be playing that week. Mighty amount of tweaking needed but think DCL will be on his way out.

What a great week, 48k, well done Sir.... :

Ended up with 108 points here which was 261k overall in the gameweek. Had hoped for much more with 11 players playing twice but Cancelo (2), Traore (5), Bruno (6) and DCL (4) didn't really contribute. Those four players got 17 points between them whereas Kane and Mendy (16) and Richarlison (17) came up trumps.

1224th overall now. Coffee, a chocolate digestive and an hour working on next week's team later on, methinks.

110 after a -8 this week from bench boost. Some disappointing returns from big names but overall not a bad result.

Mustn't grumble considering the injury to Capt Barnes. He's a big loss, I've had him since week one.

As well as Barnes, DCL has gone and will never darken my virtual dressing room again. Back comes Son and Antonio.

Captain this week will again be very tricky with Man City playing twice and what with Pepe hating everyone who plays FF. I think he will play both Stones and Gundagon for the Man U game but will drop them for Southampton, so I am going with Dias as he does seem to be on the pitch for most City games at the moment. Or do I just gamble on Spurs hammering Palace and Son picking up a sackful?

I have eight blue stars against my eleven men, so shirley another good result will be due.

After several cups of coffee and ignoring a long list of jobs, the jury has decided.

I'm taking an eight point hit this week having got rid of Bruno Fernandes, DCL and John Stones to bring in Michail Antonio, Kevin de Bruyne and Sergio Reguilon. Thinking of this looming Gameweek 29 so I have now got seven players to play that week, if I can get somewhere near the full XI without compromising the strength of the team, think 'll be all right.

So this week, I have...

Cancelo - Rudiger - Reguilon
Gundogan - de Bruyne - Son - Traore
Richarlison - Antonio - Kane

Bench - McCarthy, Bednarek, Cresswell, Raphinha.

I took my twelve point hit to accommodate a spot for De Bruyne. I've gone for a really weak bench because I've been getting frustrated with all the points that were being left on it(traditionally I usually go for a weak bench). I had Cancelo but the Pep roulette was annoying me(it still will too I guess!).
