39 points going into tonight’s game. Mind you it is difficult trying to pick a good team while living in’t shoebox in middle of t’road...
to both of you, great weeks! Up to 661st overall with a third green arrow in four weeks, more than pleased with that.
As they all are now, tricky selection this week. Would like to bring Bale in but already have Kane, Son and Reguilon. This Gameweek 29 conundrum is getting closer whereby only 4 games are taking place so anyone coming in now needs to play for one of those eight teams really. Would like to bring Emi Martinez in but Mendy's scoring well for me..... decisions, decisions....

I've jumped up to 500k overall. I'm happy that I keep climbing little by little, I just hope it continues. Week 29 could be troubling for me though as I've used all my chips and it looks like I will only have 7 or 8 players playing.

I've taken the decision to cost myself 4 points this week and next in order to get a full team playing next gameweek. So this afternoon, I've dropped McCarthy and Rudiger to bring in Martinez and Aina. So this weekend's team will be...
Martinez
Cancelo - Bednarek - Reguilon
Gundogan - de Bruyne - Son - Traore
Kane - Richarlison - Antonio
Subs - Mendy, Raphinha, Cresswell and Aina.
That then gives me nine players for next week + I'll bring in Watkins/Bamford for Richarlison and Targett/Dallas for Rudiger to have a full XI.
Have you wildcarded yet Mart?
I only ask as setting up for a full team in GW29, leaves you a relatively easy wk30 bt then it gets tricky in wk31 - all of the teams from 29 have tricky matches.
But if you haven't Wildcarded yet and can use it at that point it seems like a perfect plan.
I have a plan that leaves me with 9 players for the BGW which I'm happy enough with.
My big risks at the moment are not having Kane or KdB and no feasible way to get to them either that I can see.

Yes, wildcarded quite a while ago IIRC.
I'll start taking some of them back out in GW30, I think. I'm happy costing myself 4 points each week as I'll get 2 points back if that player plays and doesn't blow up at all. Hadn't really looked at GW31 too intently though, I must admit.
