I've just got rid of Vardy for Ronaldo now. I've had to get rid of Gallagher to do it though...and now he's decided to start scoring again!

Thanks to a trio of Arsenal players I've managed my highest weekly rank ever of 35,516th with 26 points. I took a -4 hit to get another Arsenal player in which paid off. Now I'm trying to work out who to drop as Martinelli seems like he's on fire RN and is down as a Midfielder. I already have Odegaard, ESR and Saka.

So from 35,516th GW yesterday to....1,867,106th in the Gameweek! Not so bad though as I got 52 points and have risen to 622,921 overall. Some red arrows in some leagues, some green ones too.

Davies and Duffy didn't play, James scored a worldie of an own goal and my Captain, Martinelli didn't get anything extra either. I did have Saka and Smith-Rowe though and my keeper Sanchez got 2 unexpected bonus points too! 42 points with Ronaldo to play.

Just checked the system to view my appalling start to the game week and he is red barred for international duty.

I think that means for the next Gameweek. I’ve held on to him for one more week in case he bags a few against a depleted Chelsea defence.

Currently on 45 which is more than I was expecting. That DCL missed penalty frustrated but I have Bowen as captain so hopefully another return next week in their second game. GW rank so far is 1.022m. I’ve swapped Salah for Son while he’s away and thankfully his price has dropped a bit so I can get him back in when he comes back.

Good week to have Bowen as captain. I brought him in last week but left Antonio as skipper so didn't really lose anything.

I was out and didn't even check the scores until I came home. Very happy with the results this week, just a shame I took -4 to get DCL in and he missed a penalty and had his match postponed. This is also the furthest I have ever been in the cup.

Captain Son came good along with Ramsey and Bowen so finished the week on 63 points so can't be too unhappy. Sound like a great time to Wildcard to me!
