If you're on Twitter, follow some of the FPL guys on there that are obsessed with the facts and stats.

One of them said this morning that this time last year, Leicester played three games in eight days and Vardy didn't start the middle one. That's partially what put me off bringing him in this week. Equally annoying is that if he'd been playing, he'd have taken that pen and probably scored it for you.

I'd ditched Calvert-Lewin but I'd also got Holgate on the pitch. Oh and Barnes as third on the bench.....

My nearest competitor in our work league scored higher than me, didn't play it and only had 5 players actually playing!

I got bit on the backside for not being patient enough. I took a -8 hit on Tuesday to bring in a couple of Leeds/Southampton players for the DGW...only for the match to get postponed. I'm now on -20!

Leaving everything to the very last minute is definitely the way to go this season.

Moved up another thousand places after this week's matches. Played my Free Hit, scored 56 points which felt decidedly average but turned out okay.

Now sit 1979th overall and have played my Wild Card this week. It's a little earlier than I normally do but I'll have 9 players playing twice this week + Kane and Son v Sheffield United too. Hopeful for a big week this week, break into the top 500.
