Sharp should have kept his mouth shut... But I did catch at least one interview with a Wrexham player where Spurs was mentioned.

To be fair it was the fknugget interviewer who raised it ("what do you think about Spurs in the next round?" type of thing). The player should also have handled that better (100% not thinking about it, need to win this first) , but at the end of the day these are just footballers in leagues where they aren't coached about the media every 5mins.

Wrexham fought well yesterday, especially so in the second half. As Keane said, Sheff Utd need to sharpen up on taking their chances, as they could easily have been 3 up at half time. But that's life as a Blades fan!

It made for a good watch and Wrexham are still my second team.

Just finishing bingeing the tv series yesterday. Good vibes from start to finish at what they're trying to do and reminded me what footy is actually about. Too many years supporting a PL team I guess.

I really hope promotion and improvement follows, after missing out last season. Surely it will happen this time. I hope those fans who stuck with them over their lifetime don't get marginalised by the new ones resulting from the series. In the meantime, they've given me a 2nd team to watch out for (me and many others obviously).

I've been a fan since I was little. I was a bit wary of Rob and Ryan coming in initially, because I thought they might just be looking for a subject for a documentary and then clear off.

So pleased they've proved me wrong. They seem to be really decent blokes, and thoroughly invested in the team - financially and otherwise.

These are exciting times for Wrexham fans! Long may it continue. Up the town, and all that.

Quite so! I think seeing R & R completely lose it when their team scored during the Trophy final sealed it for me; they really get it.

If Wrexham had beaten SU I would have been on a win win (always lived in Wrexham) in the next game.
Spurs won the 1981 fa cup and as an 11 year old I was sold.
Spurs win the cup............I'll support them.
I've been to watch Wrexham with my old man now and again over years
It's good to see them doing well again.
It's good to have 2 teams......beer

Managed to catch most of today's game but while having a boiler repair man here, so only saw Mullin score the first goal. On the plus side I managed to miss Wealdstone's equaliser too. We could really do with a National League version of MOTD...

Great win today. Just need Chesterfield to do us a favour now.

I think there are a few teams such as Boreham Wood, Solihull and Chesterfield that have written this season off as far as a challenge is concerned due to the Wrexham’s budget. They were up there last season, not so much now. If they go up through the playoffs it will be a bonus. They will go for it more next season when Wrexham have gone.

If. It will be neck and neck and the playoffs can be a lottery.

I never realised in the National league you can be penalised for having the ball in your own penalty area, while a player from the other team runs up behind you and falls over your foot, even if you never saw them.

Mind you, not sure Wrexham's pen was all that, either.

Not good, anyway.

Agreed on the penalties. Poor last night. Sponsors MoM went to Ollie but should have gone to oppo LB or LW, both excellent. Looked like a bottom of the table side playing hoof ball.

'I've never seen Billy Sharp before that interview at the end, and he's entitled to an opinion, but there are ways of saying things, he didn't come across well did he?

He calmed down/someone had a word for the official Sheffield Utd interview

but it looks like others being disrespectful is a theme

PS: Whoever it was at the Wrexham end with the flares was a bellend.

What a shame, poor chap. hehe

I so hope they cover the charge in the documentary. Just for amusement!

It could take the space that would otherwise have been used for that horrific Tunnicliffe OG yesterday. Let’s hope Rob Lainton is back to full match fitness soon, he’s really needed!

Notts County losing is a massive result for Wrexham.
Gives them one bad day at the office.
Hopefully this is the year bounce

We needed that last night 2 games in hand pressure off a bit and hopefully some players coming back from injury. Exciting times

Not into football at all, but live just outside Wrexham, and very pleased for all the long term supporters.

Mind you the number of people who have "followed them for years" is now about equal to the number who were at the first ever sex pistols gig.
