Tierney, Saka. These boys. Jesus Christ we don’t deserve them.
They’re two of the best players we’ve had in a long long time aren’t they. Saka up there with Cesc, Amelka and Wilshere at that age who are the three best teenagers I can think I’ve seen at the club. ESR not far behind either.

Someone needs to be sorting out new contracts for the pair of them this summer. They’ll be parking on our lawn firing fifties at us if we’re not careful....

Thank fk we won that game....it’s a sign of how bad things are that EL progress if vital this year.

Is Sokratis elegible for this? If so, Sokratis to score with a header to win, and cripple Saka (but only get a yellow) in the last minute.

He was released from his contract so unless UEFA have a rule that you can’t play for two teams in one year then I can’t see why he couldn’t. Guaranteed to be a banana skin. Not sure my nerves can take another game like last night. Still we need to concentrate on Leicester on Sunday, who got taught a lesson last night by Slavia Prague.

Used to be a rule, was back when we were in Champions League, affected some Aubergine guy who joined er Arsenal from an unspellable team from Germany- UEL was relaxed earlier apparently...

Couldn’t watch the Benfica game as on Dad duties but happy to read that the reactions here were positive, i will try and catch the highlights on BT later.

Look on the bright, side we currently have a fantastic nucleus of a team for next season all we need do is build around it.

I would say it was a single four letter word beginning with C rather than country boy biggrin

I love that man. I wish we could just inspire that level of drive and passion in all our players cry

Laughed at this one from Holding conceding a foul on Adama Traore in the Wolves game earlier in the season.

Anyone here Silver Members, seems like no refund or discount just full £59 charge next season, but they're introducing a loyalty scheme (something about 10% off online store)... I await with interest to see if get stiffed in May on the £210 for being season ticket holder for the one match that made it to ballot (which they would have charged for the tickers)...and what price it will be with no European football at all.

Not a fan of the team we’ve got out today, especially as we haven’t got a mid week game to worry about this week,

Good fight back, but life would be so much easier if we stopped giving away such ridiculously soft goals.

Settle down lad lol

Luiz, Pepe and Willian all in with a hand here.

If we can hold on here this is the result we needed to give the lads more confidence. Leicester are in 3rd.

There’s still a few mins and extra time to go, but I think this will be valid at the final whistle even if we somehow lose or draw.

I wasn’t a fan of the line up, but I was wrong. Pepe has been good and, much to my surprise, Willian was really good as well. Two good performances in a row now from him, has something changed? I hope it has, I’d be very happy to have an in form Willian, it was my hope we’d get that when he arrived!

I think we were helped more than a little by a tired Leicester and an off form Vardy, but still, I’ll take the result all day long.
