Nothing wrong with that performance.

I hope Aston Villa get relegated so we can buy back Martinez, back to reality I hope we buy another goalkeeper next season because Leno doesn't seem to know when to play it safe.

Second that. Biggest mistake so far letting Martinez go. I cannot get round my head why professional footballers keep making the same mistakes over and over again. It’s not like they play part time for gods sake. If I made the same repeated mistakes at work I’d be sacked.

Good result in the end, great header by Gabriel and strikes by Odegaard and El Neny.

Another mistake from Leno, even if Dani is showing for the ball he can see 2 players coming onto him, just kick it long.
It's not difficult, I'd rather he kick it long and concede possession or for a throw then these suicide passes he keeps playing into the middle.

With Kane and Bale firing along with Son this defence is going to come under an immense press at the weekend and doing stuff like this I can see us conceding a few unfortunately.

Arteta needs to put a stop to these daft mistakes as it's costing us dearly at the moment.
If we play like that on Sunday we will get stuffed !

I was pretty dissapointed as we looked sloppy last night but Gabriels goals was sublime.

I am getting a bit fed up that martinelli isnt getting a run at all at the minute. I would like to see him and ESR play together both young and full of beans looking to drive forward. I noticed a big difference once ESR was on attacking wise.

I think when El Neny came on it shored up the midfield as Dani isn't that great in deep midfield, he takes too many touches and is best served further forward.
This then allowed us to be better up top as before he came on the midfield was non existent after Partey went off.

What's frustrating is most times Dani & Xhaka need a few touches or try to be too cute when they get ball off Leno and are getting caught in possession.
They need to have a picture of what's around and what they are going to do with the ball when it comes.
What Dani should have done with that ball is pass it straight back to Leno who then should have passed it to the unmarked players left & right, although Leno should have gone left or right in the first place.
Also need some better communication by players, how hard was it for them to shout man on to him.

With El Neny he keeps it simple when collecting passes there and will most times lay it off first time simple, he probably would have dealt with Leno's pass and we wouldn't concede that goal.

On Martinelli he is still 18/19 and although I'd love to see him play, he still has time and if he keeps working hard and takes his chances I'm sure we will see more of him soon, but there's quite a few players vying for those places at the moment and not sure if he needs to be eased in after his injury.

Suck in your beers guts lads and looks sharp, the enemy approaches...

It’s pointless trying to predict the score but it looks like almost everyone is fit so no excuses if we lose.

The stats don’t look good to be honest. Jose Mourinho has lost just two of his 22 matches as a manager against Arsenal in all competitions (W12, D8)

Would take a draw and be delighted with a win, but really think it will be 1-2 to Tottenham frown

I'd take a draw, considering their strike forces form, and all of our silly mistakes!!

The OD/Smith-Rowe/Saka triumph-ate that was mooted a number of weeks ago finally appears.

Much prefer Laca to Aubs up front, Laca is a great holder of the ball while everything bounces off Aubs. Though hear the reason is disciplinary issues for why he misses out.

Which is worrying considering he's supposed to be captain!

I have no idea why Arteta thinks he's captain material, and keeps giving him the armband?
Doesn't say much about our setup tbh.

Said during the first half that PEA was late arriving this morning so absolutely the right decision from Arteta. Agree that PEA should not be Captain though. Hard to see past KT to be fair.

Our lads have given a solid performance in 60 minutes. Proud of them, some people thought we would get rolled over.

I hope we can hold up this for 30 more minutes.

I agree, KT would get my vote as well.

As much as I want us to win that wasn’t a pen in a million years, I’d be spitting feathers if that was given against us.
