Horrible result that, especially as we looked the better side, soon as Mustafi came on it went bad.
Xhaka in defence caught ball watching and Gabriel had to go cover for him and they score.
We really need some creativity in this team, I thought Dani would be the one now Partey is here but he seems to be picking up the ball from the defence when he should be the one playing balls through to the strikers.
Most of them had a stinker apart from Gabriel.

I'm not sure why our goal was disallowed as well, no way was Kasper impeded he even went to the right of Xhaka, the goal should have stood.

Arteta needs to start quickening the play up front as we could be in for another loss against Man Utd.

A tight game.

Mustafi and Xhaka should be shipped off permanently in June so i won't complain about them...again.

Saliba should be ready for the next game so we can take a look at him.

Really dissapointed we have failed to pick up even a point in either of the last 2 games.

We have no decent target man and if we do he is played out of position every game..

The only positives i can take are, as people have mentioned, Gabriel looks like a top class defender, Tierney and Saka our best players this season. The first half we looked hungry and then it just fizzled out. Xhaka, Mustafi, Lacazette not good enough last night.. Ceballos was off the boil. We are a mid table team at best.

Partey must be wondering why he joined this bunch of st.

Nketiah isnt great and once Martinelli is back i dont see him gettng a look in.. i think Martinelli would have buried most of the chances that have been presented to lacazette recently.

Well that was a wake up call if ever we needed one, what with the euforia of the new arrivals. A game that could have been a product of Mr Goodebening... lots of passing sideway and backwards and very little final product or penetration, is David Luiz the only player we have capable of making a long pass? The game seemed to go pear shaped as soon as he went off injured.

The combination of a very rusty looking Mustafi and Vardy was only going to end one way, a mate came round and we went halves on the game much to my disapproval of giving Sky any more money than they already get.

The goal was Arsenal of old, Partey didn’t cut out the through ball, Xhaka was asleep to the runner, Gabriel covered Xhaka leaving Vardy on his own with Mustafi missing in action as normal. smash

Even Mustafi thinks we are st, he's turned down a new contract... Mustafi is sort of player that needs to be regular start or the rust and the brainfarts just increase, he can be great on his day, unfortunately he's down to less that one of those a season and those in front aren't exactly offering much protection.

Xhaka is in his usual cycle, given space he can be creative, spray the ball around but when he is shut down or needs to provide defensive cover (more so when he was only one that in theory could DM) the panic seems to get to him and goes to st/ the stupid fouls/ yellows usually follows. We wont sell him though.

Before the Leicester game I was thinking a win would make me fairly optimistic we could be challenging for top 4 again, but a loss would confirm our mid table status. And here we are.

Even after just 6 games, the top 6 of the table currently wouldn't have been on many people's list after 6 games!

However, I never realistically expected us to be fighting for top 4 this season.......but, you never know, with the empty stadiums likely to be a feature until beyond the new year, there yet could be any number of strange results and we could have a closely fought top 8 or 9 places with only a few points seperating teams.

So after Sunday's st show Dundalk tonight, then Man U Sunday. Got to seriously start getting some confidence running through the team as we look short on just about everything at the moment. Not 100% sure Arteta knows his best 11 or best formation yet. Desperately need a good performance to get it all going.

Ok performance from the second string tonight.

We really should be beating teams like this by at least 4/5 goals but fair play to Dundalk they set up quite defensive.

I'm not sure we needed to pay them so much respect by playing 3 at the back.

The ref was awful, I read they got 21 free kicks off us whereas they didn't commit a single foul, even though there was a shout for a pen and also Willock I think got pulled back blatantly in the second half.

I'm not looking forward to the Man Utd game as we look like having a defence of Mustafi/Gabs/Xhaka going into that game which will probably get hammered by Rashford et al.

Shame Saliba wasn't in the squad as we could do with him about now, only Arsenal can go from having 8 centre backs to having most of them out and having to resort to midfielders playing in defence :s

Dundalk conquerors, explain this.

Utd's 1st 4 home league games have all been against London opposition:

Crystal Palace (loss)
Tottenham Spuds (loss, although a narrow one)
Chelsea (draw)
Arsenal (?)

I wouldn’t give United too much credit, they have been largely awful since the start of the season.

Saliba started full training last Wednesday, he is due to make an appearance soon. That might not mean he appears in the next games but at least he has returned to the training ground. And yeah, he might have a whinge about it but end of the day, you can’t just rock up and expect to go straight into the team.

Rashford and Greenwood both looked sharp and hungry mid-week, if we play like we did against Leicester, especially given our situation in defence, we run the risk of a mauling.

They seem to have turned a corner recently and look quite good in midfield and up front, whereas we haven't even reached the corner going by the way we are playing recently.

No urgency or creativity and it will be suicide if Xhaka is put against Rashford in defence.

With all the off field stuff about a family bereavement and not playing a great deal and coming back from injury I don't reckon we will see Saliba play for us until after the new year, if he isn't sent on loan by then.

Here's hoping we can pull some sort of performance out and not just park the bus and hope for the best on Sunday.

Pretty sure we'll see Mustafi, Gabriel & Tierney at the back on Sunday, maybe with Xhaka sitting in front of them and Partey/Ceballos centrally going forward.

Hi all,

Looking for some advice here please.
I'm a fundraising volunteer for my local dog rescue kennels based in Bedfordshire.

We have been donated an official 2020 Arsenal signed team shirt with certificate and are trying to work out how best to sell it.
It can't be sold to a dealer for resale and we need to pass the eventual buyers details back to Arsenal HQ.

Any idea of value and also is there an online fan site or forum you know of where such goodies are sold?
We could try eBay but I'm worried it will just end up turning up for resale soon after.

Ta for any help.

Try asking on Arsenal Mania forum, they might be able to point you in the right direction.
