Are you a better team? Questionable. You have two world class forwards that make the difference.
Also conceded fewer goals.......so yes?
Finishing above Arsenal in the table for years - so yes

Key as well is that the manager is a couple of levels above Arteta - at least at the moment.
(shameless Italian bashing, thats all!)

Its no real surprise that the 4 best coaches in the PL (and 4 of the best in Europe) have will finish top 4.
Arteta's WIP coaching career finishing best of the rest in 5th is not a bad result in the grand scheme of things, although if Leicester and Manure had not had a crap season.....and West Ham not had a long run in the EL......it might have been no better than previous few seasons.

Higher points per game since Conte took over. That is probably the best single measure.

LOL, I'm not coming here to bash Arsenal fans................stuff aaaaaaand....................The point you're missing is that while we (Spurs) are still a bit ste, we are a better team than Arsenal. Under Conte we have won more points than Arsenal and Chelsea.

I haven't got time to check this now, but in 2022 I think you'll find Spurs have the 2nd or 3rd biggest points haul, the most goals scored and the top goal diff

Considering the really poor start both Spurs and Arsenal had 4th and 5th is quite the achievement.
The really poor start that saw Spuds top of the league after 3 games.
Is hair splitting your profession?

Agree. The Arse can do better than Arteta. I'd be a bit depressed with him tbh as there's just no reason to assume he can get them top 3 / winning a cup / deep into CL etc. With Liverpool and Man City perhaps for the next 2-3 years that is about the best Arsenal or Spurs could hope for, and I know which of the two I'd back for that (assuming Conte stays).

I'm glad the Spurs thread isn't as kindergarten as it is on here sometimes
Only seems to go that way when there is an influx of Spurs fans posting, and in response alot of non regular Arsenal contributors come out the wood work too. What he should have said is "Your problem is Conte leaving if Norwich beat you" (not that they will obviously as that would cost Conte his £2.5m bonus for Champs league qualifying), and even if they did you know we would screw the pooch by losing or drawing with the Toffees anyway.
The irony of the scorer of the second goal being a player we were signing until a Toon poach fells like a taste of silly season to come- the mercenaries will go to Toon for a couple of season (ala Citeh early years of oil money...yes Tevez I'm looking at you), the top 1% with trophies on the mind will only have eyes for Citeh and Pool, I think until Chelsea funding streams is clear there will be a bit of doubt on signing depending on if fall into the two previous categories. Yes Spurs have Champs league next year but unless they come out the end of the season giving Conte another 2 to 3 years I can see struggling to get any big signings (unless Ponch comes back and kidnaps a couple from PSG) and us "project youth/ asset growth" we need players okay with Europa and believe in Arteta vision...we shall see...
In other news, in a desperate bid to extract some more cash just got this:
