Martinelli was protected by not being sent off for his challenge
Even as an Arsenal fan i think he was very lucky to get away without a yellow for this never mind VAR not taking a look to see if more action should be taken. It was not a good challenge at all.

Doesn't look like your wish is going to happen, BBC report the other day said Balogun is off to the MLS in the USA.

I read it as he'd opted to represent the USA at international level rather than England....not necessarily go and play in the MLS??

Yellow at worst, he's just not very slick in the dark arts and if that was given I'd like to see that applied to all those hits Saka took during the season, no wonder he faded. Regardless of that, feet up through the back should merit a card, but as it wasn't that naughty boy Xhaka it's fine.

Talking of Xhaka allegedly his move to Germany is going to happen, Lakonga is to link up with Burnley manager Kompany again- hopefully Lakonga gets his focus back as dropped by Arteta, didn't set Palace on fire but there is a good player in there if attitude is right. Speaking of attitude Gendozzy now being linked with Spurs...

Saka deal to be announced in coming weeks (I'm guessing the day before the season ticket downgrades (with raised prices) demands are sent out) with deal expected to be for 5 years

Saliba is contract discussions ongoing *yawn*

Odegaard new contract discussions to start (learning lessons at least on not messing around leaving it to the last minute)

Some guff about us being after Gündogan when he can walk into Barca for free if not happy with a 1 year deal at Citeh, I bet it's his agent trying to up the salary...

The blah blah blah is still all positive about Rice but I'll believe it when I see him put the Chelsea shirt on and join Mudryk I mean Arsenal shirt on.

Already feels like it's going to be a long summer

Do you mean to play for the US team/rather than England, (as he’s a national for both), the geezer is super class.. absolutely no chance he playing in the MLS.. biglaugh

Another poor performance but Forest played to their strengths and did everything they needed to, to win that game.
Deserved to win and stay up.

Our players were just rubbish, couldn't get around the low block and everything was side to side with no end product or urgency.

Really disappointing end to the season, whether it was down to injuries, mentality, pressure, inexperience or whatever I hope we get the right players in to change this and kick on next season.

I'd love to take the piss, but am in no position to do so. It's still amusing tho.

I feel bad for Arse, despite being Chelsea i wanted them to upset the City petrodominance. I like what Arteta has built, and how he forced nearly everyone to eat humble pie after writing him off.

Always had a soft spot for the Gunners.....but I think Arteta has been a bit too stubborn and overly loyal to some players over the last couple of months where maybe he could have used the wider squad when it was obvious that some of his players had taken a dip in form.

Don't think it would have changed the fact that City won the league but they may have gone down fighting rather than with a whimper.

As a result there's probably a bunch of decent players in that squad who'll be eagerly looking at the exit door at the end of the season (e.g. Smith-Rowe - face obviously doesn't fit, Nketiah - was on great form but ditched as soon as Jesus was fit, Tierney - see Smith Rowe.....)

They're all EV fans now...

Areteta is 10 years behind on Peps management experience, we ran our best 11 into the ground, a few stepped up and then rewarded with a bench so will be an interesting summer. You know your squad is thin when you put Vieira on with 20 mins left to turnaround a game, and as expected have little impact. ESR must be off as being behind someone with so little EPL experience would boil my piss too- I guess Arteta is trying to make sure ESR groin doesn't go before Villa move and the same with Tierney's calf to Toon (or Citeh) if you believe the latest rumours. As I've said before big summer ahead.
