Brighton's form is woeful though. If it wasn't for their early season form they'd be languishing between the relegation battle and the rest. They've got a lot of injuries, Mitoma out for the season. Not sure you can expect much from them.

Expect Spurs to beat us and lose to City more than the other way round.

Indeed, they've slumped to 12th in the 'last 10 matches' table, and in last 10, only beat Palace, Sheffield & Forest, and only managed a draw against Burnley, Brentford & Everton.

Yes, but in the last 10 they played 6 away - they are draw specialists at home - I hold hope hehe

Who we hoping for in the CL draw? No easy games at this stage I guess. Weirdly might be Bayern or Barca these days ...
From BBC following yesterdays matches:
BBC said:
Manchester City and Arsenal will find out their opponents in the Champions League quarter-finals when the draw is made on Friday at 11:00 GMT in Nyon, Switzerland.

The two English clubs could play against each other while also left in the tournament are Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Paris St Germain and Real Madrid.

The draw for the semi-final round will take place at the same time.

The Gunners beat Porto on penalties to make it to the quarter-final, while holders City overcame FC Copenhagen 6-2 on aggregate in the last 16.

The Champions League final will be played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 1 June.
I don't think UEFA wants more than 1 English club in the Semi so expect the Citeh and Arsenal balls to be glowing hot in the transparent bowl and be drawn together- do we think the middle east have enough envelopes laying around to get their dream final

Citeh v Arsenal (dodgy ref/ red card/ VAR/ Haaland finally get out of Saliba pocket after Saliba is shown a red)
Real v Dortmund
Barca v Bayern
Athletico v PSG

Semi
Real v Citeh
Barca v PSG

Final
Citeh v PSG

All the Spanish teams will be in max sniper mode but Barca look the leakiest of the 3 at the back so them if has to one of them.
Dortmund have more draws, scored less and conceded more than Bayern, and Kane always gets at least 1 pen against us each match so I think Dortmund over Bayern for me.
Not seen much of PSG this year but given league lead they seem to be cruising so hard to judge.

If not Citeh "fix", I'll go for Dortmund and hope Sanchozzer regains United level form...

My post from March, yes, yes they do have enough brown envelopes for the middle east final

ETA I should have had a bet on it, that and Gnabry and Kane would score a pen in our first leg

I'm sure all the Barca fans think last night's ref had a big fat one stuffed inside his back pocket laugh

So who knows which Arsenal will turn up tonight, that Villa performance after the first 20 was positively PTSD inducing and the strange highline v Bayern and getting mugged at every counter was very not our usual defence set up.

Maybe the £2m bonus payment from Fulham for not being relegated will buy them some special oranges for half time.

My thoughts exactly.

Feel like a hiding is coming tonight. Not looking forward to this.

Well either

1) We put on v Man City level defence masterclass and nick it
2) We put on v Man City level defence masterclass and lose it on pens (Kane's one obviously)
3) We go full Villa 2nd half level and get pummelled with every bit of bad luck / bounce/ 3 red cards going our way adding to the st show plus Kane hatrick (and that's just the first half)
4) We go full West Ham (home match obvs) and smash them into oblivion

I'm hovering between 3 or um yeah just 3 tbh

We haven't often shown a good 'response' after a bad result, but I really hope we can buck that trend tonight.

Bayern only have this left for them this season, right? They're going to be up for it, and lets face it, Kane is a monumentally good striker.

That said, we have some damn good defenders, and I'm hoping we only had to put up with that line up on the weekend just so we could go hard for this game. LFG.

I’m going to say, if / when Bayern score, Raya will be at fault. He wanders away from his line then gets caught out of position. Absolutely awful and not worth upsetting the team for, replacing the Ram with him.

Very nervous about tonight, trying to take solace from PSGs feat last night!

I’m going red card for us early doors and we all feel disappointed in life… probably for kicking the ball away or something like that and a second yellow. PTSD kicking in on other nights like this I think hehe

Bayern a proper team, not letting us have any space or time on the ball. We're not being pushed around, however.

Didn't do enough to go through and mistakes and experience at this level showed.
We did well for our first time back after so long

Hopefully do better next time with another year under our belt.
