Pogba certainly appears to be the missing magic, but he’s still a huge problem both on and off the pitch with his agent.

He can’t be relied on to deliver consistently when he is playing, he seems to quite injury prone and those injuries are always a month or longer. His contract ends in 2022 and unlikely to sign another, so we can’t plan a team with him in it for the medium or long term.

His talent is undoubted, his attitude is suspect and his commitment non-existent.

Just seen that DGea has just had a baby so I presume that was why he was absent mid-week. Wonder if he will return for the weekend?

That was my thinking. She won't leave Spain and now he has a child over there that he's hardly going to see, he will leave (understandably). Problems are, who's going to pay his wages? If he decides to stay, is he going to be mentally there if his wife and new born are 2000 miles away?

Might make Ole's job a bit easier though.

He might not be fussed about wages if he gets to go home, especially if its to Real, although he's got 2 years left I think so we'd want some money

I do think we'll see swap deals abound this summer as everyone is skint

SAF let Ronnie go home for 2 weeks during a critical time in the season so it's nothing new.

If she's staying in Spain with the sprog then there is no way he's not leaving IMO,

No idea where he thinks he'll go though - Real have Courtois & Barca have Ter Stegen & no money anyway. Oblak's at Atletico, Why would any of them need him?

She's refused thus far so I think it's inevitable, sorts the Henderson issue out, I wonder if he'd go back to Atletico? We could do with Saul or João Felix

Ronnie didn't have to quarantine for 10 days on his return. If Henderson gets knobbled we have only our 3rd choice keeper available. 38 yo Grant.

I'm hopeful we can shock a few tomorrow as we sometimes do in these situations. Not that it will change the eventual winners of the prem, I think that's in the city bag now tbh.
