As long as they give their all today. We aren't as good as city at this moment in time. Doesn't mean our season is over yet, still trophies could be won if they rediscover scoring!
I agree scoring is a concern and trophies are available, but not this one. Below is the reply I got when I criticised current scoring performance in mid Feb. We’re now 3 weeks and quite a few games on and if you look either side of that comment you’ll see that we’ve scored 1 goal or less in 7 of 11 matches. The other 4 were 3+goals, especially Southampton, but it’s the inability to break down / convincingly beat opponents that’s my biggest concern. Being one of the top scorers in the PL is distorting our view as we’ve scored a quarter of our season’s tally in about 4 games, so it’s not an accurate reflection of the season’s performance.
I’d love to see us nick it against City, even with a dire performance, but I just can’t see it. My fear is they score within the first 5 minutes and go on to wallop us.

Moan moan moan.
The reality is if our defence and keeper didn’t gift so many goals we would be at least equal on points with city .
Moaning about the attack seems a bit ott given no one has scored more goals so far this season than United .

If we concede inside the first 5 minutes again Maguire should be transfer listed because plainly he can't organise a piss up in a brewery, never mind a defence!
They’re going to come at us right from the start I reckon. The match at OT was dull as, because both teams stood off each other and both got slated for doing that. Drabbesttunic said:

Ronnie didn't have to quarantine for 10 days on his return. If Henderson gets knobbled we have only our 3rd choice keeper available. 38 yo Grant.
You'd have to be a proper tt to not let him go home, Ole is not that man so good on him, the right decision. 200Plus Club said:
Might be tempting fate and well probably get battered but you've got to say Liverpool's demise as reigning champions is getting silly now. 6 on the bounce at home!
Shows the power of the Anfield crowd. I've often thought they're a 12th man. Liverpool have been very poor at times over the last 30 years, I reckon without that support they could have been dragged into relegation battles. Even so, the current team are far better than these performances. Such a shame.Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
