I hope so too and the club back him this summer, it's a big one and would be nice to get business done before the Euros if possible. I've seen a lot of chat about Sancho who should be our priority imo and see if we can lure Rice away from West Ham if they don't get CL next season.

Tbh Liverpool should have been awarded the win when our security failed to keep OT secure before a game

It would have killed any further game disruptions and the Leicester game would have been better not having to squeeze this one in

Bailly terrifies me, people always wang on about how if it he could stay fit he'd be first choice, I don't see it and I hope HM cam make the Europa or I suspect we'll end up with 10 on the pitch

I do think Fred has a use but he shouldn't be our main starter

Liverpool are fighting for CL and were leagues ahead of us last season it's hardly a surprise they could turn it on for a game

It was a dead rubber the minute it was cancelled and that's what we saw imo

For all the talk of progress, our point total is going to be well below what Mourinho managed. So much work still to do.

That may be the case but there is clearly progress amongst the team and set up behind the scenes. I don’t think you can compare this season to any other either to be honest!

He posts more when we lose and delights in us conceding as it apparently proves him right, I really wouldn't bother, I don't know what he is but a fan isn't one of them

Agree with much that has been said above. Also another game that raises concerns over Pogba's mentality. When he's "on it" he's very good, but as soon as he switches off he's back to being a fecking liability. Sadly it doesn't seem to take much for him to switch off, the man is almost hubris personified.

I wonder if this enforced Maguire break will be another example of a reputation increasing through absence.

This really. We can moan about how we played etc but winning or losing makes little difference to us now. I hate losing to the Scousers but they needed a win and we didn't.

With pogba I can’t help but feel sorry for him. He gets stuck with 2 cdm behind him which are pretty much useless. He is creative going forward, never has been a defensive player - and that is ok!

If we had a Kante in cdm with a new cb we would be such a massively improved team we wouldn’t have to play this sit 6 men back at all times.

True. Hopefully this period will shine a light on our midfield, we need a new midfield much more than a shiny new forward this summer.

Pogba's like the toxic OH that just happens to have massive tits and a kinky streak.

It's painful to dump her but the right decision in the long run.

I've never known a season like this one tbh. We've lost 6 games at home yet unbeaten away? Since when does that happen at OT? Lack of crowds has definitely affected all Teams, the fight and passion is rarely there. The Scouse thread last week was as bad as ours for depression and moaning!:-)

I want us to finish second so I hope OGS puts 100% into the Brighton match. But if that goes wrong I think we should take it easy and prepare for the final. Though I see that Leicester are playing Chelsea and Spurs, so perhaps 6 points isn't a formality for them?

If we got combined offers for Fred and PP of £100m would you guys take it?

Could we get 2 better replacements for that money?

Not a trolling question, genuinely interested

Rice seems to be quite obvious, limited but could maybe do the Kanye role? I've obviously got a semi for Camavinga who would be cheap but is young

Massive questions over DvB

Pogba is technically able but not good for our team. Sell him and Fred for whatever and throw in DvB.

Impossible position. Caused by those idiots.

I might have played the first 11 against Leicester and rested people tonight. But no good solutions.
Be careful. Aston80 is back on here and he gets easily offended by the use of multiple asterisks, or any suggestion that the protests were idiotic.
Yeah, i get real bothered. That's why i visit the football sub-forum once a fortnight...... rolleyes
I’m one of those idiots then. I went to the first Liverpool protest. I can tell you I know feel completely responsible for our drop points. I mean we all were. Not the fault of inadequate policing of a demonstration? Proper police presence last night no bother. As there was at Chelsea, Arsenal and Leeds.

Are we not allowed different opinions?

It’s easy to say sell Pogba and being honest I’m in that camp due to the circus that comes with him. However, he is an immense player and makes the team tick when he’s on it. When he’s not on it, the team has struggled to tick. Will we be able to find someone else who can fill that role? I know Bruno is the poster boy, but I think he needs Pogba around him to really show what he can do.

We played st, yes, the whole team did but it's pretty clear that we've taken our foot off the gas and the edge has gone now we've secured top 4.

Not helped by the fact Ole put Rashford on the right again when ever man and his dog knows he's no good there and has a good record 1v1 against Trent. Greenwood has been on fire so I'd have started him. Fred....jesus don't get me started on him. He cost us two goals last night and is a terrible player on the ball.

Shows how important and what a good player Maguire is imo.

We need a 6 and right winger this summer.
Focus now is rightly on the final.

I’m with you on Maguire he’s been immense. Right wing and an improvement on Fred will do we are not far away now.

Sure I read something about Bruno wouldn’t sign a longer contract unless Pogba is around? Think he knows he is the only other good midfielder at the club.
