Was the commentator a Spurs fan? Think we were lucky to win that if you go off his chatter laugh

Fully deserved in my opinion, happy days and thank god we managed to sign Lingaard biggrin
I think they deserved a point as they dominated the second half.
But it Spurs ..

So I couldn’t give a st.
Thank fk Bale didn`t start. Cheers HoseA.
Makes you wonder what Bale has been up to if he wasn’t picked up to now. Same at RM, seems an odd character.

Before the game HoseA said Bale wasn`t able to play twice in 3 days.

Which is bks judging by Bales second half display.

I think HoseA didn`t and doesn`t want him, he wants it to be all about HoseA not Bale this and Bale that.

Another one I’d add to the “Old School” comment is Fab.He may not be as good with his feet as the modern keepers, but his handling today was exemplary. There was a couple of low saves today where you’d expect to see the fashionable stiff wristed palm out that 50% of the time creates as many problems than it solves. Everything stuck again today, even at 34 he’s still a massively underrated keeper.

Yep, it’s a cliche but he’s a safe pair of hands. It does annoy me that he boots it down the middle more often than not, would prefer him hitting the channels but I guess it’s what he is being coached to do, but makes me nervous sometimes.

Indeed, at least he does actually launch it though instead of trying to be clever as so many keepers seem to do and end up with the ball in his own net.

Next up away at City on Sat.

Be surprised if MoyseyBaby doesn`t rest a few players, Soucek will struggle and Coufal took a whack as well.

One of our best results this season IMO...although the 2nd half wasn't an easy watch. COYI

And deservedly so rofl

But in all seriousness the way your lot played today you should be ok. What do you need, 4 more points for safety? Plenty of games left so no need to get edgy yet.

Nice easy away fixture at Citeee next week. What could possibly go wrong?

Free hit.
A week of feel good in the squad, time to rest up, and come what may we will still be 4th when we play them.
Who’d have thought.

See City have taken De Bruyne off after 60 minutes to save him for the top four clash next week ..

Bloody missed it, visiting daughter rolleyes

I called 2-1 correctly but in all honesty, I had it the other way round.

Will watch it in MOTD tonight. We’ll probably be on last though.
