Wish they would just settle on one design and use it for years to be honest.
Agree - the Di Canio Fila-era one will do IMO.

No money for the Club in doing that though.

Either that one, or last seasons and just get a better sponsor.

I’m just back from a little holiday in Cyprus. We stayed at a (largely golf themed) hotel/villa establishment near Pafos. During the summer they do a football academy you can book your kids into, and in a few weeks time the guest professional will be Carlton Cole.

I was wondering if he will be following this up with a course on public speaking at Oxford University.

Yes, last seasons was pretty good - one before was OK as well.

Our shirt sponsors have been pony for years, can't see anything changing until/if betting companies are prohibited from shirt sponsorship.

Bought in Turkey by my son last week for £9

Colour looks a bit off in pic but it's exactly the same, other than sponsor on the sleeve.

We've had some cracking shirt sponsors over the years - remember BAC (Bang And Crash) Windows? hehe

Blimey, I sold some old shirts very cheaply a few years ago on eBay based on those prices.

Couple of interesting (maybe) stats on Mikhail Antonio.

Sky Sports said:
…he played more minutes in all competitions this season than in both the previous seasons combined. Regardless of their Europa League commitments this term, Antonio still played more minutes in this season's Premier League than in all competitions in any other season since 2016.
Sky Sports also said:
Even when he is fit, he does not take the majority of his chances: since he was converted to a forward in 2019, he has underperformed his expected goals (xG) in all three campaigns. In that period, only Brighton forward Neal Maupay has underperformed his xG (-10.7) more than Antonio (-9.9).
We clearly had a good run out of him last season - surely we can’t expect the same again? Those hammys must be ready to pop at any moment? hehe

This is another good stat (C/O Jack Elderton on Twitter):

We defo need to be signing back-up/alternative option/longer term replacement etc, bearing in mind that we never replaced Haller ffs.

Can see its not genuine straight away looking at the Umbro stitching and also the stitching around the badge. But for £9 not a bad shout.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s perfect but close enough for wearing up the park and it was more a point that these shirts can be produced very cheaply.
Also makes a mockery about the ‘big reveal’ that West Ham have been emailing me about for the last couple of weeks, this has obviously been knocked up in a sweat shop 2 or 3 weeks ago.

You've got better eyesight than me or you've got super resolution on your PC screen 'cos I can't make out the stitching at all hehe

Click on the pic, then click on it again when it loads on another website to make it bigger.

After last seasons brief respite we're back to our traditional opener against a top six team, Man C this year. FFS.

Home games vs BHA & spuds follow, with Forest & Villa the away games. Very tough Aug.

Last home game vs L'pool & then finish season away @ palace.

Obvs no home PL fixture for us on Boxing Day again.

I’m pretty sure I read somewhere there are no games played over Xmas period due to the World Cup…
