Whatever happens this season he`s got to go.
Don’t bank on it. If we stay up I reckon Moyes will still be around next season.
So it's Hobson's choice, Moyes and staying up or relegation and a new manager rofl

I managed to nip off for a piss and get back before the VAR decision had been made laugh that was a poor second half, I really do think Moyes has no idea with his substitutions.

Think it took over five mins from the ball going in for a decision to be made.

Moyes' subs encapsulate his approach to managing a game.

Glad I didn't go today as don't think I could have stood the tension in the stadium. We did alright but but against the better teams it would not have been enough.
For me, don't know what Emerson brings to the team. Never really rated him at all.
Same, I didn’t go as sadly I’ve lost all enthusiasm this season. It’s been so negative and clearly Moyes is here to stay so I can’t see it getting any better.
A vital 3 points today but again I can’t see that performance changing our luck for the rest of the season. We didn’t play particularly well and were up against probably the only team in the league who are worse than us. I really want to be positive and get behind the team but I’m really not feeling it this year 😢

It worked so well for Everton Leeds, Southampton.....

I'm no Moyes fan. I want him gone in the summer. But sacking him now makes little sense. We'd end up with Benitez.

I think that's the 10th Manager to get the sack so far this season (not quite 50% of clubs changing managers as S'hmpton have had three) & we're still stuck w/ DM.

I agree it’s probably best to stick with him til the summer but if we did go down I’m not sure I’d trust him to be able to get us back up, we got lucky last time that Allardyce managed to sign Nolan and help us bounce back. fk knows with us though, we seem to be an utter basket case of a club.

Probably get Graham Potter now.

We keep the ball better with him on the pitch,he tackles better and his work rate was immense today.

When it comes to analysing how the games have been, you’re usually spot on - do you think we can stay up?

I said to my uncle and cousin today when watching Rice running things in the first half that we will be fked next season when he inevitably leaves.

Do we reckon Downes can step up and do that job? I would like to think so.

Not in the PL from what I've seen to date. Decent player though.

Of course if we had a decent scouting network & were prepared to utilise other agents we should have an ongoing list of possible alternatives, all sub-23/24 (ish), whom we could be considering in preparation (same applies to all positions).

We don't though, as evidenced in this seasons expensive scattergun. Aguerd looks superb though & Pacq's improving.

Part of me agrees with this but I also remember a game last season (can't remember which) when he was unavailable and we played more fluently. I do think the other players, maybe unconsciously, look to him all the time. When he's not there they have to (or are free to) step up and do things themselves.

I'm really going to miss him when he's gone though.

Cheers for the compliment BM (although I doubt that’s the case !).The great thing about this forum is generally we all seem to be on a similar page.
Yes I think we stay up,Everton were abject at our place under Lampard (although I’m sure Dyche will change that),Forest and Forest and Southampton yesterday were utterly dire.I do think we are the best of a dreadful bottom half( but that’s not saying much ffs).
As for Rice, the criticism he’s got from some of our own has been outrageous…how we cope without him will no doubt depend on how well we spend the money we get for him.

Apparently Paqueta made 7 successful tackles in the first half yesterday, more than any West Ham player has managed in a full 90 minutes all season.

His total of 10 tackles across the game was the most a WH player's made since Diame vs QPR in Oct 12 (ffs).
