Probably a bit too soon for us to be laughing considering we will be dumped out of Europe tomorrow as well, but that did make me chuckle

RIP Dylan Tombides, 10 years today the lad passed. Really great write up in The Athletic today with interviews with his mates at the time, the likes of Elliot Lee, George Moncur etc. All the lads had his name tattooed on their wrists a few days after getting the news and they kiss the tattoo whenever they score a goal as a celebration even to this day. Seems he had a profound impact on so many people around him.

Certainly was.

Coincidentally John Lyall died on the same day in 2006.

Really need a goal in the first 30 mins or so tonight (without conceding obviously!)to get the crowd right up and Bayer thinking.
Ant looked like he could get something out of their centre backs in the first leg, let’s get them on the back foot a bit and see how they handle it.
All unbeaten runs have to end sometime, calm composed heads and the right decisions made under pressure needed …. That’s us fuvked then !!

I just hope we don't play Moyes' favourite tactic of counterattack........if we go out then at least go out having given it a proper go instead of a whimper.

Whoever scores first wins IMO.

Is Mavropanos suspended, injured or rested? I can't remember...
Pleased that Bowen's playing but I reckon we'll miss Emerson.

Mav injured.
You’re right about Emerson, especially in an attacking sense when he drifts about.

Hoping for no Cress vs. F'furt repeat.

Emerson's a massive loss.

James WP playing a blinder.

It’s marvellous what this team can do if you let the handbrake off.
