I have just noticed that, despite lying seventh in the table, on points West Ham are equidistant between the first and last places.
I am not too sure what that proves, but it gives me the feeling that there is still a lot of work to do.
There certainly is and I hope the board back Moyes and let him build on the last 2 years. I am not too sure what that proves, but it gives me the feeling that there is still a lot of work to do.

Interesting stat. Last season (65 pts) WH gap was 21 to first & 39 to last (Sheff U). I am not too sure what that proves, but it gives me the feeling that there is still a lot of work to do.
This season we're on 56, so potential max of 59, gap will potentially be 34 / 37.
As you say, plenty to do.

Well deserved!Slight aside, but interesting to see that there's only one player each from Man U & L'pool in the squad.

Personally, I’m not keen - he’s no spring chicken, his wages will be big, I’m not sure he can/will recreate his previous form for us and it’s clear that he was one of the disruptors in the United camp.
He may have been good for us the season before last but we need to be looking ahead, not back.
Not saying he’s not a good footballer because he clearly is and I love what he did for us but I just don’t think he’s the right fit for us at this stage.

My view is that he will be a good addition to the squad. He was fed a line by Solskjaer about fighting his way into the 1st team and then he never played him. ManU then slapped a £30m price tag on him to prevent him moving on. Hopefully he will be fired up to do do well like he did 12 months ago and he seemed to fit in well with the team last time around.

Apparently we are going in for Lingaard. Thoughts?
Lingaard last season - yes, not so sure he'll have the same impact, but if the appetite's there after barely playing again for MU then great. If he signs quickly that'll be a very good sign, rather than string us along & maybe wait for interest from others (Everton, N'Castle, Villa etc), bearing in mind it's a free.
Knows the Club now though & we'll offer playing time PL & Euro. Suspect England's gone for him, but outside chance of WC (ironically potentially competing w/ Bowen).
Didn't think I'd see him play for WH (live), prob 75% chance I will now.
