i would be shocked if he is banned less than 12 months.
Although most of the bets were while he wasn't earning big bucks, still doesn't make it right.
I hope we don't have to pay him while he is banned based on his new contract he signed.
At least he won't sign for any premier league clubs in january.

I agree, I will be amazed if its less than 12 months.Although most of the bets were while he wasn't earning big bucks, still doesn't make it right.

Doing well at the moment, can't be any prouder of the players and the performances they have been putting in.
New signing today as well. I do wish the FA would hurry up and do what they need to do with the betting scandel of Toney. Of course the longer it takes and the more games he gets to play, hopefully the more points we get towards safety.
Not overly bothered if we get knocked out of the FA Cup on Saturday tbh.

He had to submit his defense by today IIRC, so I would assume it won't be long before there's any announcement.

Performing above expectations, I would actually prefer if we stopped all the talk of europe etc. We would need to seriously strengthen our squad if we did. I feel thats a step too far for us right now. We have come a massive way in just a couple of years, last season a few injuries to key players, our form took a nose dive.
