Clem was my childhood hero too but Alisson is quite something. Couldn't leave out Neal who was solid for years at right and left back. Chris Lawler scored 61 goals from full back without being a penalty taker and was very solid. Heighway another childhood hero out on the left wing and through the middle. Souness would have to be centre midfield, he was something else. Which puts Stevie out to 1 side a bit. Front 3 are club immortals, never mind legends, who did their stuff for years.

Not denigrating any of our current players at all, this was pretty impossible.

The right answer is impossible, there's no way to play 3 up front with Salah and Suarez in Midfield. FFS.

Has to be Souness if you are going to drop anyone. On another day I’d have Suarez instead Barnes. In fact I might even change that one.

When I first saw the quiz this morning my initial reaction was… impossible, far too many great players. But as I thought about it while working today (just doing some decorating, so plenty of brain capacity left) it’ was actually pretty easy…



Alisson because the sweeper skills he has just move the position on to a different level vs when Clem was playing.

Defence… would have been equally happy with any two from 5 or 6 CH, but the FB’s pick themselves.

Midfield… if playing a modern 4-3-3, these 3 would have all the strength, passing and box to box skills… and no fker would ever mess with them!

Attack… Rush & KK should be in anyone’s team… they may have played 40 years ago, but they’d still do it in today’s game. Suarez… scored massive goals, unselfish, always fit, always gave 100% right up to the final whistle… the best up front I have seen in my time as an adult supporter…. providing he came with the temperament he showed at Barca.

Subs bench would be pretty tasty too

No great surprise.He'll either be running down his contract or signing in the summer a new one.

I wonder what Mane will do.
