The Official Liverpool FC Thread [Vol 19]
Discussion
A bit of a reminder from a few years ago when we found it difficult to break down teams who just sat back and hoped for one breakaway to nick a goal. We're now seeing teams like Brighton, Brentford and now Crystal Place who can come up with a well organised plan and are able to stick to it.

One of the most cynical pieces of garbage I have seen for years, Viera has clearly told them to waste time at all costs and try and play out the clock, it's pathetic but I would expect nothing less from him. Always was a dirty player.
I hate seeing cheating and stuff, and this is such a poor effort from a team LEADING away from home, even in attack they have made zero effort to try and score, just get free kicks and throws/corners to waste time.
Nunez is a total bell end, I feel Klopp is going to have his work cut out with him
I don’t think you can say palace are dirty when you just had a player sent off for a double headbutt. Palace had some good chances too. Maybe you could both go and "support" someone else with that kind of pessimism. Sheesh.
I just think Nunez is a massive mistake. His ball control is atrocious, he needs 10 shots to get one in. I really don't see it with him.The squads looking a bit thin to me with an odd balance of injury prone players, kids and guys at the wrong side of their careers.
I'll stay here thanks.

As you said yourself, you thought the same last season - one of the most consistent seasons from any team in recent memory. That alone should have you wondering "well maybe I was wrong then and I might not be right now".The squads looking a bit thin to me with an odd balance of injury prone players, kids and guys at the wrong side of their careers.

You can think Nunez is a mistake - I suspect Klopp and co know a bit more than you or I do so I'll leave my trust in them.
What I really am concerned about is the number of injuries we've already had - most of them in training.
