Mbappe is still a kid. Albeit a very talented (and overy hyped) one. It will do him good to lose.

Wijnaldum out of the Euros and arguably at fault for both Czech goals.

It's all downhill after Liverpool. wink
Wijnaldum is a decent player, but never was a top player.

He seemed at home at Liverpool.
Much more so than being the best player in a poor Dutch team, he was their top scorer in the qualifiers and the actual competition.

He's scored more goals for the Netherlands than Van Basten

To balance that, that comes in rather more matches played. Still bloody impressive for a midfield player though..

Rafa has apparently agreed a 3 year deal with Everton - signing is seen as a formality now. Good luck to him (but not when they play us).

Will be interesting what kind of legacy he will leave there. How will the majority of Evertonians 'accept' him? Better than the Chelsea lot?

New stadium, new manager, surely not same old Everton? If he is given the financial backing there, he might actually improve them!

I was just looking through the transfer comings and going for clubs.

One player so good they released him twice...

He must have been on big wages, but surprised he was not worth a transfer fee to sell on

Interested to see how he gets on with big Duncan. You'd think they would be chalk and cheese.

It's always weird seeing the end of the season contract releases.

Invariably there's a few massive names in there that for some reason faded from the limelight and go out on a relative whimper.

It hurts a bit that they're all now younger than me. I can definitely count the number of prem players older than me on one hand these days, actually there may be none, any 38/39 year old keepers knocking around? Asking for a friend laugh

Good that he picked Phil Neal, despite the way they parted company with each other. Mind you, that seemed to be more sour grapes on Nealy's part than KK's.
