Germany have history in starting slowly, scraping through and then doing better in the knockout stages. But how many great players have they got at the moment? Portugal seemed decent enough, Belgium. France have impressed the most, for me. But they've all only played once so way too early.
I think they might start with Werner in the next game. Yes he has been awful for Chelsea this season, he is very quick and creates issues for defenders. Everything was infront of the back 4 for France last night and easy to defend against.

France deserved that by more than one. Think Germany could be struggling to get enough points on the board for a 3rd place best qualifier position.
Yep Germany looking a bit tired and lacking movement based on this match.
Germany looked a bit like England, out of the league of France, Portugal, and Italy.
Don’t know which game you watched but we (surprisingly) made a decent Croatia side look ordinary.

Nothing to be afraid of so far IMO.
Yeah I think England are looking like one of the best teams. Great to see some of the potential future opponents like Spain and Germany looking a bit less threatening too.
Talking of sniffing, what are you taking and can I have some.

Maybe not outright great players but Germany have strength in depth we could only dream of.

They brought, Sane, Werner and Havertz off the bench.

I thought Can made a difference when he came on, picked a couple of passes that got between the French defensive lines.
But they did look a bit toothless up front.

Germany were rubbish. I wonder who they'll play in the final.

Agree those two look weaker this time round but I only put England on par with them and that’s a maybe given our ability to choke at first real test.

France, Italy, Portugal, Belgium all stronger

If I were to rate the teams so far, then it would be - Netherlands, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Belgium, England, Spain, Slovakia, Ukraine.
The best match was Netherlands v Ukraine, with France v Germany the runner up.
With England, we have to improve on creativity and passing fluidity. Phillips, Foden, Stirling were all good. I thought we played better in the last World Cup, here's hoping we improve.

Shame for Finland that would have been 2 shots, 2 on target and 2 goals for the competition. I know it was ruled out but it’s great seeing a forward really attacking crosses like that with their head.
