Constant passing backwards/sideways and slowing the game down. When we attacked with a bit of pace we looked decent, but Soutgate must have told them to be very risk averse and focus on retaining possession at the cost of creating chances.

It is ironic though. Used to be the case that the only enjoyment Scotland fans got was through England losing. Now they have more fun getting put out of the group stages than England fans do watching their utterly boring, dire team
