Watching without much hope of winning is quite liberating.
Oh I agree, I support Everton, I'm a seasoned professional biggrin

Still time to let a goal or two in, tactically.

It's not quite Euro '96 is it ?
Imagine being a kid now and not in 96.

How do you inspire a kid watching this to be a lifelong fan.
The Premiership is the best league in the world. We forget it’s the non-English players that make it exciting. English players are dross.

Southgate can fk right off.

At least we’re still on to win the prize for consistency.

I can only assume he's left Kane on there to play himself out because he's not going to figure in any of the knockout stages. Having a statue up front is worse than playing with 10 men.

How the fk can a squad containing Sancho, Saka, Grealish and Foden be this boring and st.
because Sancho, Saka, Grealish and Foden are out of their depth on the world stage
I'm not too sure about the first three but I totally disagree with you about Foden. He's a brilliant player in my opinion.

Dominated half time?
Awful patter.

It is ironic though. Used to be the case that the only enjoyment Scotland fans got was through England losing. Now they have more fun getting put out of the group stages than England fans do watching their utterly boring, dire team
I'm sorry my banter is st but I'll console myself in the immense enjoyment I'm getting at Scotland still having never qualified out of a group stage.

The bitterness in the rivalry works both ways.

I think Southgate must have got his preparation for this tournament from watching Greece's 2004 run and win and thought he could mirror it.

Dire second half. Best players taken off and complete lack of imagination going forward. Southgate silences his critics again with a boring 1-0

If he had ten touches all night I'd be surprised.

The mutterings to drop Kane will get louder.

On paper we look great, haven't conceded a goal, topped the group.

Reality is we're insipid.

Atleast the first half showed some promise.
