Stoopid fat little fool then to hang around thinking it may be overturned.

Radu settled in nicely shame VDV had to be taken off to see him on the pitch tho.

Bentencaur had a little payback tackle on crappy Cash late on.

Nice win though and not expected to be so easy, I watched Villa on Thursday and they were mediocre at best.
first clean sheet for Vicario too.

Yeah I have a fiver on a card for Romero and a fiver on a red. Really hope I lose and there is no sillyness.
Matt cash to be fouled 3 times or more 9 - 1. Given his last few performances Vs spurs I’d say that’s a very good bet.
Easy money. biggrin

Damn. That's the last time I ever take somebody on the Internets word for it.

It must be pretty unusual to score four with only five shots on target.

The ref letting them kick Madders up and down the pitch and oddly booking Sarr gave them a false sense of confidence in their thuggish behavior. They have been that way since Slippy was at the helm. Laughably VAR was experiencing technical difficulties when Gill copped an elbow to the head in the box last match.

https://packaged-media.redd.it/5aypye0iwp2c1/pb/m2...

If the ref clamped down on it early I don't think he makes that challenge. Silly boy for what he himself was referring to as their cup final.

Still. Gotta laugh.

Nah, Campbell gets short shrift from Spurs fans because of the manner in which he moved, not because he moved to Arsenal. He was idolised at Tottenham. When his contract was coming to an end he came out and publicly said he would be signing a new one to stay at Spurs, he did interviews with Sky and others saying it's all in hand etc. etc.he was doing this for weeks then suddenly it was announced he had signed for Arsenal. He basically stuck two fingers up at the club, disrespecting the club and the fans. He could have just been honest and said he won't sign a new contract he wants to move somewhere else, but instead he chose to lie and pull the wool over everyones eyes until the 11th hour. That's why no Spurs fans have any time for him,
Other Spurs players have gone to the Woolwich and not fallen out with the fan base over it. Pat Jennings for example is a Spurs club ambassador and legend these days, I regularly see him and get to have a quick chat now and again. Infact Jennings has more reason than most to be p1ssed off with Spurs due to the way he was treated but he absolutely loves the club.
There is a deeper back story that ...he signed for Arsenal

At the time he was the best CB in England and wanted, as is his right to ask, a bit more money. His Agent wasnt the most, as i understand it, the most savvy, and like most agents realised that the more Campbell got, so would he.
He was first touted around LIverpool and ManU and both turned him down, reasons unknown, but agent may have asked too much initially

Then agent realised he might be up sh!t creek and so went abroad, the big rumour was that he had agreed terms with, iirc Barca ,but at the last minute another add on was asked for A return ticket each week back home. allegedly club went ballistic and told him to drop it, he was to stay in Spain or jog on....Agent wouldnt budge. Deal off table...so a few weeks before the season starts they realised that he had mouthed aff a bit too much and to resign at Spurs was now a no go.and his options were going down quicker that a 2 bob we.. Wenger saw a chance and offered him a contract. .. the rest is history

A friend of mine's career was quite badly affected by a Sol Campbell tackle. From memory, Campbell didn't get a card for it but my mate broke his leg and was out for a year, all bar two weeks. Campbell never once enquired as to how he was & obviosuly football being football, they bumped into each other a few times since and not once has Campbell even made eye contact, let alon engaged in conversation.

The bloke is a first rate censored and deserves all the st he gets off people. Some things are actually bigger than football (Campbell's overblown ego for one!) and least he could have done was to ask if he was okay. But oh no, that's below our Sol.

Villa fan here who attended the match with my family. Firstly well done Tottenham. No complaints about the result, but I just thought you’d like to rub my nose in it. I’ve witnessed 8 consecutive home wins at Villa Park, but today was a great example of being brought back down to earth. Things got off to a bad start with the awful weather on my 90 minute drive to Birmingham, then couldn’t find an on-street parking spot in my favourite location, so ended up paying £10 for a private car park on top of the £213 I had paid for the 4 tickets. No goals scored, 4 goals conceded and a player sent off. Got back to the car and had to wait an hour to get out of the car park. Whole trip took 7 and a half hours door to door for a home match.

Nevertheless despite all my moaning, we’ve still got 3 points from the 2 matches v Spurs and 3 points each from our home matches against Arsenal and Man City, with both of those away games still to come, as well as Liverpool at home. A 4th place finish is still a possibility. It may well come down to the last day of the season.

That sounds like a really crappy day which will be all forgotten next home match with a good result. beer

The tight wad is moaning about paying £213 for 4 tickets as well, that's at least a £360 price tag at Spurs.

The cheapskate.

Wow that’s a lot of money. I paid £143 for Villa v Man City at the end of November. That’s 2 adults, 1 under 21 and 1 under 18. The European games are even cheaper, I think £93 for the same tickets.

Just googled the first time I watched Villa v Tottenham and it was October 1988 and a young lad called Paul Gascoigne had just joined you that season for £2.2 million and received plenty of “friendly” chanting with regards to his transfer fee and waistline. We won that one 2-1.

Edit: just seen the team sheets for that match. All 13 Spurs players were English and I think Villa had 10 English and 3 Scots.

He’s a tt. Recall an interview where he was basically saying he was a top class manager and the only reason he wasn’t getting the opportunities was due to racism in the game. In reality, it’s because he’s a bang average manager who has a greatly inflated opinion of himself.

I'm looking forward to Kane knocking Woolwich out.

Shame Bayern aren't allowed any fans at the Library.
