I think Ange's days are numbered. I think he's lost the players.
I also think his "public persona" isn't playing well with potential investors and partners. The gruff mumbling whilst staring at his shoes is wearing thin. He's one of the main faces of the club business!
Contrast with the charisma and eloquence (not all always applicable) of Pep, Klopp, Arteta, Emery.

We are probably about where we deserve to be. Our very good start gave us a false sense of security but the last few months has been a well needed reality check.

We've had very little luck with ref decisions, yesterday was only our second pen of the season but that's always the case for Spurs tbh so no surprises there.

As for Ange, I think he's done quite well for his first season in the PL although I don't get the massive hype either.

He's managed to move us away from the absolute awful football we had to put up with for 3 or 4 years which is great but we also have some glaring weaknesses which he needs to sovle of we want to progress further.

Set pieces, been happening all season. No idea why this hasn't been fixed or even acknowledged.

Susceptible to long balls. Some might argue this is part and parcel of Ange's system but it's far to easy for teams to hit us with the long ball which leaves is very vulnerable at the back.

Toothless front line. Decent if they have space but more and more teams will setup with a low block against us. We don't have a focal point, 3 of our regular forwards can't do that job and Richie isn't the answer either.

I'm looking forward to seeing if Ange can fix some of these issues next season and progress on from here.
I agree with most of that, I find it so frustrating with changes being made too late, It needed to be changed at half time, or very shortly after, we were all saying the same thing at Half time hoping for some changes. Not sure why Ange persists with Kulu out on the right, every oppo player knows how to play him now, does the hardwork, gets to the box and then blanks, he's so much better playing deeper behind the front 3. Son is not an out and out striker, so why persist in trying to play him as one! After Johnson moved to the right and Son to the left with Richy in the middle, (he was excellent holding the ball up when he dropped a bit deeper a couple of times) it was a massive improvement, do it with half an hour or more left and we may have got something out of the game

Oh yes, the amazing whinging Klopp and Pep, love that! Emery is about as charismatic as a door handle and Arteta is barely understandable. No thanks.

And yet their teams are in the champions league positions. Arsenal players clearly understand Arteta’s tactics and game plan… I’d take any of them at the Hammers.

I guess it's better than we hoped for in a transitional season, I know some people don't like that word but it really is a proper transition with a new manager, totally new style of play, new CB, new LB, new Keeper, new midfield and new wingers.

Not a made up transitional season like the one they keep banging on about on the ToS where they've had the same manager for almost 10 years and changed a few players, that's usually just called a new season by most other fans but you know, it means more.

Trying it on… it’s football. The Hammers have had a decent run the past few years but my expectations are pretty low. We’ve cost United leagues, ended a few of their FA cup runs… first team to win at your new gaff, beat you guys earlier in the season. We’ve taken beatings from Arsenal & recently Palace… hey ho. A lil rubbing from a lowly Hammers fan! C’mon, it’s a bit of banter.
I actually think you have a pretty good team and teams over the years… how you guys haven’t managed to get something over the line remarkable and intriguing.

You weren't kidding about the low expectations stuff then.

Blimey we've had Ange for a season and we're still in for a shout of CL league football, look how poor Arteta and Klopp were when they first arrived.

He's made mistakes especially in the cup games, but I would never have imagined us in this position this time last year.

Give your heads a wobble.

30 points from the 23 PL games you've played since the start of November is quite rightly concerning people I'd suggest? That's 6 months of bottom half of the table form.
