I have to congratulate the supporters for their part in the match as as much as the team. The sheer wave of noise, the intensity, and self-destruction by Arsenal all contributed to one of the best matches I've seen in years. We were discussing Holding and how he need to calm down after the first card and then - bang! - he was sent off. But my hat goes off to you supporters. Intimidating by any measure. Superb.

Conte will have the team prepared. Only problem will be Burnley parking the bus. We haven't done well against teams that do that
This, I'm more worried about the Burnley game then Arsenal tbh. Burnley could have written the book on parking the bus, they are masters at it and we always struggle against them. Our wingers are a bit st and we have no natural playmaker in midfield to break them down. We just have to be relentless with the pressure, keep pumping the ball forward and hope they make a mistake. If we spend most of the game passing sideways and backwards around their 10 man low block, we are toast.

What I'd give for a prime Eriksen in games like this.
Can we get Moura on at the same time as Kulusevski. Son, Kane up front, Moura and Kulusevski running at pace at them sitting just behind.
Bring Bergwjin on when one of them gets tired?

I certainly sounded like a sex worker the following day! It was a great atmosphere!

An amazing effect, shame you can’t see it when you’re in the middle of it

It’s not going to be easy by any stretch, Burnley are in good form and fighting for their lives meanwhile despite being the last midweek game we’re the first weekend game which is almost unheard of.

12 o’clock Sunday kick offs never lead to good games. It’ll be a horrible boring game, I just hope we get the 3 points anyway we can

Anybody still awake in the FA cup? I don't like this kind of football. But that's my personal problem. I think they're world-class, and I think they should do more for the game.

A dull game, glad LiVARpool won, despite how arrogant their fans are I cannot ever get behind Chelski to win anything smile

3-0 again today. Got a tenner on it - who is with me? laugh

I am hoping for a penalty or something early on which will force Burnley to open up and then we slot a few past them. If Burnley score first then we are screwed.

Hum, some pundits are saying a draw at 1 all, with the Arse doing the same against Newcastle, so I really hope we win and they draw, then we'll get all spursy and lose to Norwich biggrin

Reports Kulusevski is ill, does that mean Moura starts? He doesn't get back and help defend like Kulusevski which helps Royal.
Romero is out this season
https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2022/may/spu...

So what do we think then?
Lloris
Sanchez, Dier, Davies
Royale, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Sessegnon
Moura, Kane, Son

Burnley don't have to go for it, they've got a game in hand over Leeds, so I think they will turn up with a game plan of trying not to lose rather than trying to win, which will be a problem for us. I think it will be a close game, hoping for a 1-0 Spurs win.
