Maybe we could time the tour so it coincides with some other important event, like the anniversary of a plane crash or something.

I'm sure your manager could fix it for you

Absolutely, he could get one of his mates to rustle up some fake covid test results so we can move the dates around to suit.

Meanwhile, in stadium geeking news, I see it is being prepared for the Lady Ga Ga and Guns'n'Roses gigs next month. Interesting to see the additional vomitories opened up in the South Stand which are usually covered by seats.

They'll need some extra room to get fatty Axl in there biggrin

It's rare we get a home fixture on the first weekend, I think when it happened last year that was the first time in five years or something ridiculous.
confused

The last time your first PL match wasn't at home was in 2018/19.

4 years in a row is remarkable for us! Of the last 20 seasons, we've been away 13 times - including 8 years on the trot between 2011/12 and 2018/19.

Yes sorry, when it happened last season it was the second time in ten years not the first time in five years (ignoring the Covid season when we couldn't attend so home or away didn't matter).

Spurs opening day fixtures:

2021 - home
2020 - home but behind closed doors so no attendence
2019 - home
2018 - away
2017 - away
2016 - away
2015 - away
2014 - away
2013 - away
2012 - away
2011 - away
2010 - home

To busy getting inhalers? Apparently there's a shortage as my wife can't get hers

No, there was Wembley before, which was unfair on you lot as everyone treated it like a cup final. So it was probably a benefit to have played away at the start of the season due to this effect.

So, if everyone treated it like a cup final we've actually won quite a few trophies!

Bissouma done (subject to work permit), £25M + addons, 4 year deal.

That's 3 signings done now, nice and early in the window which means they will be ready for the start of pre season. Feels very strange - like I'm in a parallel universe where the club has started to do things properly. May we hang on to Conte for as long as possible if this is the effect he is having on Levy.

Top work. Excellent signing who will only get better under Conte.

Absolutely. Whilst we haven’t signed any headline players those that have joined are significantly better than those that went before. Given what Conte achieved with the lacklustre mob I’m genuinely optimistic for next season.

Yeah the title is ours, maybe a cup too. Liverpool and City may as well give up now.

Spot on. Although I must be a tart because they feel headline to me. Hobby, Skippy, Benta and Bissouma to rotate for two positions is great. Especially with Larry, Curly and Mo in the physio room.
