The first game in the Korean pre-season tour sold out all 66,000 seats in 25 minutes




In other pre-season game news - I've won a ticket in the ballot for the Rangers game, but it's going to be a complete PITA to go without staying overnight as it's a 3pm kick off. Did anyone else get a ticket ?

Absolutely. Whilst we haven’t signed any headline players those that have joined are significantly better than those that went before. Given what Conte achieved with the lacklustre mob I’m genuinely optimistic for next season.

Yeah the title is ours, maybe a cup too. Liverpool and City may as well give up now.

I think Bissouma could become one of the very top players in the PL under Conte. The potential is there to thrive under that coach.

How do these friendlies work? For that one there is obviously a lot of value for Rangers in that they can fill Ibrox with Spurs. Minimal additional cost of putting on another game. What do Spurs get from that? Is it part of a favours "system" that gives us credit - e.g for a return fixture, transfer options etc?

Some friendlies are actually about preparing the team for the coming season, not a revenue generating exercise.

Absolutely. The question is really whether anyone has any insight into what goes between clubs in terms of favours that these friendlies might be part of. For Rangers, I'd expect this will be 50000x£25, plus other hospitality revenue ... maybe not far off £2m total revenue for modest marginal cost. Not small potatoes in the SPL.

A sweetener for nicking their chief scout I expect. And an opportunity to run the rule over any of their players that might be of interest. And the chance to play a team similar to an EPL one. And minimal travel.

Jesus all day long A because I think he’s better as a Striker which is what we need B I think he has a better attitude C he would be more content with less game time because he’s used to it, I think Richarlson will just start spitting the dummy out
