I believe he needs to give his first born male to Levy in order to be released from the Spurs contract curse.

Cool, the return of Ossie. I'd take 6-4 every week. smile
Sadly, it was often 4-6.
At least it was interesting to watch!

"Vincent Kompany identified as a leading contender for the vacant managers role at Tottenham Hotspur"

Surely he has more sense than to consider ruining his fledgling managerial career by coming to us.

If you look at Kompany in terms of his personal character & approach to the game, he's baby Poch in my view. Therefore a fantastic choice, therefore he should run a mile.

Seems to me though it’s a short term appointment. Say he comes to us and does well, as soon as Pep calls time on Citeh, he’s gone.

We'd be better served signing him as a player....

Anyway, playing last this weekend so we’ll know where we sit before we play.

I hope City batter Liverpool, I can’t see Brighton dropping points and hoping United and Newcastle draw. Then we can see if the shackles of Conte have been fully released or not. I doubt it though, and you know players always have a habit of underperforming for a manager they know isn’t going to be there next season.

I think the opposite - I think we'll see a bunch of players who are motivated and eager to prove a point.

What you mean like they have been for the last few years?

Think you guys are seriously overestimating the removal of Conte. Conte's cheaper brother as manager for a start. We'll get a game or two max from the players, then back to business as usual.

You're agreeing with me - we're talking about Monday night's game.

So we assuming the team decide to show up to spite Conte and we win on Monday, what then?

We've got nine games left, Happy to be proven wrong but I'd be VERY surprised if we make top 4 with Stellini in charge and a team half full of st players.

We could win all our remaining games and still not finish 4th. It’s out of our hands now.

I think Stellini may surprise us note that he’s not shackled to Conte. Have faith!

I just don't understand where this shackled by Conte rhetoric is coming from? He's Conte's understudy, are we really expecting Stellini to say "Thank fk Conte is gone, now I can finally take the chains off and let Spurs play some proper football"?

We also still have those god awful players stinking up the place. Sorry but I think that's just the usual Spurs fans wishful thinking coming into play again.

We still have to play Newcastle and Man Utd, and they still have to play each other, so it's not straightforward.

Or did you mean we would finish 3rd?

Got to stay positive! We finish 4th and the Gooners miss out on the title to City...

That would fantastic. So for all the incessant piping up from them about how st we are and how the cone arranger has turned them into world beaters we could end up with exactly the same outcome to the season hehe

But tbf I don’t think they will slip up and they fully deserve it and fair play to slags.

Less than they blew on GLC and Belly....

Manager salaries are a rounding error compared to the hundreds of millions wasted on player speculation.
