Why are our games always so weird lately laugh

Fulham must be absolutely sick, what a way to screw themselves over. We were so poor, and they just handed it to us on a plate. To be fair it would have been 1-1 if Willian wasn't playing rush keepers, but we still weren't great. Nice when that happens, but deary me what were they thinking. Mitrovic just got himself banned for a long time I think.

International break now, and boy do we need it. Wemberley, Wemberley.

Can’t believe what a head-case Mitrovic was after two nailed-on red cards had been shown.
He’ll not get a massive ban because it wasn’t really physical like Di Canio / Alcock

We’re knackered and there are more games in all comps to come. I’m really chuffed how it’s going but if we end up playing every match possible this season I just hope we end up with more silverware than the scousers did last season.

Brighton will be really tough and even if we get past them a highly likely all Manchester final will be even tougher.

Personally think Sheffield Wednesday can cause an upset against Citeh.

Burnley didn't quite manage it yesterday, but it was a home game for Citeh.

Quite? Quite???
Yeah, real close contest.
You really do live in an optimistic bubble don’t you. Sheffield won’t really stand much chance if City are at 80% or better.

Anything can happen, but yeah its not looking likely. Maybe Sean Bean will turn up and inspire them.

25 games between the Season resuming and this international break, in 88 days, and we've won 19 of them - including a trophy, and are still in for two more. One humping aside, that's an incredible outcome and all credit to ETH and the team for managing this well so far. It's been amazing and I'm not sure anyone was expecting such an intense period to have gone so well.

Eriksen back soon, maybe even Martial fit for 20 minutes and hopefully a good rest for some of the squad. It's looking good.

Hope to god Southgate doesn't break Rashford somehow.

I reckon he’ll get a 5 game ban.

A glorious afternoon, and finally we’re back to boiling the piss of ABU’s around the world.

Can't wait for the Manchester Derby final where City run out 5 nil winners and Haaland gets his 10th hattrick of the season.

Entirely possible but as you’ll be well aware, it’s kind of important to get to the final to have a chance of that not happening. How was the end of season party?

rofl

Win, lose or draw any remaining matches, this season has started to upset the ABUs as said before. It’s been a successful season when we’ve got them out of a decade long hibernation and flapping again.

Hated, adored, never ignored. Love United.

Totally blagged that today after the monumental Fulham collapse! We were in 2nd gear for most of the game before it so well done lads. Brighton are no mugs and we'll do well to beat them and reach to make it all Manchester final for the first time ever in FA Cup history. Anyway before that really important to get a result at St James to make sure Top 4 is consolidated.

Aaaah bless scousers getting bitter again. Good luck finding another Klopp! Good luck for 4th. Plenty of rest in between games though if only he hadn’t utterly run your aging midfield into the ground without planning he next generation. He’s good but he’s not Fergie. But you did win 7-0 in your only cup final this season. And you’ve had a rest and watched all the teams that have actually still have chances of silverware.

Who got stats on how many times we have come from behind to win, this season?

In the cups, from memory, Fulham, West Ham and Barcelona, spring to mind.

I just don’t get what Mitrovic was doing, it wasn’t like a horrible injustice had been done, it was an obvious red.

He’d lost his temper and he’s notorious for it. They threw that away we were poor today.

I think and it’s only a theory, but Silva was whingeing about a penalty in the first half on Mitrovic that wasn’t given. I think he flipped over that and then Mitrovic did the same. The thing is that the only penalty incident I can recall for Mitrovic was when he threw his leg into Martinez who had his back turned and wasn’t making any sort of tackle.

He should have been booked for diving at that point.

It's nice to be in for so many trophies but I think fatigue is going to kick in and we way struggle to win more this season. Really does feel aside from our first 11 we don't have much quality or depth in the squad. We really need to be efficient in our business this summer, ship out the dead wood and get in new hungry players.

You can see the difference in the newer players who want to be there and bust a gut constantly and those who drift and seem to be there to see out the contracts for the most money.

ETH has done a cracking job this season, just hope he can build it on it well and keep the momentum going into next season with some time to build a proper squad
