He’s probably screwed his career, although someone will come along and offer him a deal. If he’d signed a pre-contract abroad then we’d know all about it now but the silence is deafening. That only leaves a Prem club and can’t see anyone breaking down the door to get to him.

There should be a lesson in here for all players about agents. Ravioli has used Pogba as his personal cash machine and put him in an impossible situation by encouraging Pogba to act the arse
Ravioli ? I wouldn’t put it pasta him .

That's the thing I don't get.

He hasn't been good for quite a while so it feels a risk. Feels a wasted career (I know he is a world cup winner). I'm not sure he was as good as the hype when he resigned, but he should have done so much better.
Did Steven Gerrard have a wasted career?
Let's examine the statistics.
Gerrard won 7 major honours.
Paul Pogba has won 10 major honours.....and counting.
I don’t think major honours should define ‘greatness’ it should be judged on what you do on the pitch and StevieG as much as I can’t stand him took games by the scruff of the neck where Pogba just doesn’t.

Yeah, it isn’t even a discussion.

Yeah, it isn’t even a discussion.
Discussion is not concerned if Pogba is a 'great'. Very little evidence to support that.

Someone suggested he wasted his career. He has won plenty of silverware, refuting that claim with utter disdain.

Wasting a career is different from not having one.

Pogba had the chance to become somewhat ‘great’.
He definitely has the talent but lacks the desire, drive, commitment or whatever to place alongside it. As such, the innate talent he’s been blessed with is not being used to maximum potential and is therefore wasted. He’s surely too far gone to redeem it.

100%. If he hasn't had the drive and desire to eke out every last drop of talent up to now, there is no way he'll pull it together. He joins a long list of players with talent and potential who never realised it.

You can see such a drop off in his personal achievements in the last few years

Never mind the past, look to the future. The first Youth cup final for 11 years tomorrow .

Always get a lot of hype about some of the youngsters that never materializes ,but there are 2 or 3 in this youth team who really stand out ,one of them even stands out in the u23's when he has played.

I’d like to see kids getting a run out in the final game of the season, but can understand why it probably won’t happen, primarily as it’s away from home at a fairly hostile ground so could be too much for them to handle this early in their careers.

The state of our club has meant `RR hasn’t risked the kids so far as they’ve a final tomorrow! After that maybe!

There is an absolute message in there to the first team squad. Good on the fans, hope they make it a night to remember for the kids no matter what the result.
