A clear out of the dross and bringing in signings that will improve the first team immediately alongside ensuring performances and results on the pitch are visibly improving - Christmas.

Winning the Europa League next season.

A return to the champions league via league position even if the above happens. Again next season

Challenging for the title by his third season. A domestic cup before then wouldn’t hurt.
Not much, then.

Is Ronaldo a good fit still given the need for a fresh start? As good as he is/was? It was like Bale returning, although Bale didn’t have half the impact tbh.

They own a lot of the land immediately around OT, so it may not be an issue
It can be built at 90 degrees to the current ground and be done without touching OT. Would leave room for something else to be built, like a small stadium for the women's and U23's team smile
Yes exactly this, build the new stadium whilst we still play in the old one.
Won’t happen though
They will just tart up the existing stadium.

Has a year left on his contract and still scored 18 goals in the premier last season which is the 3rd best in the league. We need to strengthen lots of areas so I would certainly be keeping someone who scored a load of goals.

We shall see as he appears to be staying.

Challenging by the 3rd season hey...just as Klopps leaving wink

I remember when Klopp came in he immediately booted Sakho off the overseas trip for being a dick, it was a great way to stamp authority, so hopefully ETH does that and set his stall out

It’s all very positive, all the right noises and managing expectations too. I just hope the club continues to back him and the fans give him the time he needs.

For those interested there is new footage of the end of the 99 Champions league final.
Apparently some bloke smuggled a camcorder in and started recording at the end

Can't work out how to share but if you search twitter for @iamcoxhead you will find it.

I'm just about over it, after all these years.

Thanks for all kind words and DMs wishing me well for tomorrow.
Much appreciated.

It's also worth looking up the Paddy Power advert - that will probably raise a smile as well.

Thoughts on the Kante rumours? I’m on the fence a bit really. Could really do with a player like him but is he a bit past his best now? Or has Tuchel not used him to his best? Might be a good short termer..
