I would be disappointed to see Fred get dropped. Was probably my favourite midfielder last year after Bruno annoyed me with all his shouting at refs etc. I just don’t like players that do that and don’t want them at the club.

Unpopular opinion but I would of rather got rid of Bruno and kept Pogba. The lad never really got a chance to play as a cam - his actual position.
hehe

Thats a mental opinion imo

Bruno didn't have a great season last season but he's worth 10 Pogbas

Bloody hell Slow that’s an unpopular opinion alright!

Bruno should improve again this season given ETH ability in improving players and giving clear tactical instructions. Bruno wanders round the pitch to much for me and needs to be more disciplined but hopefully having FDJ feeding him he won’t have to keep coming so deep.

Agree Bruno should look better next season. We looked so disjointed in that midfield that everyone was bound to look frustrated.

Bruno plays awful for Portugal when Ronaldo plays ,he plays very well for Portugal when Ronaldo plays .
I think Bruno likes to think of himself as the main man but obviously when Ronnie is around he isn’t .
He needs to cut that whinging crap out though ,it’s embarrassing,

The problem with Bruno is he feels like he always wants to be in the spotlight so doesn’t like other players being better imo. Don’t think he would fit into the city or Liverpool team for example.

Likes to argue with refs and just be a bit of a dick when it doesn’t go his way, these are things he did at sporting as well and wondered how long it would be before it came out at United.

Pogba, yeh he was lazy. But that was about it for problems that were his doing and not management/coaching. Trying to play a guy who was basically a cam/firmino role at juve into being a cdm was always going to fail. The lad never really had a chance to play in his position, looked much better when we tried to put him out on the wing as he didn’t have as much defending to do - still not his position though!

Everyone has to defend to some extent but you wouldn’t get David silva for example in his prime at city and tell him to be a cdm and wonder why he did a poor job at it.

Anyone else bored of this transfer market already? United are so slow and drawn out, they make transfers boring.

The FDJ signing has been dragging out for so long it's not exciting. Other teams have gone in and got the job done quick time. Not us.

To be fair, all the ‘transfer market’ noise is from the media, agents and random social media idiots. No club announces who they wish to sign at the start of the summer and then gives weekly updates on how they progress. You hear from the club when a player is signed and anything else is noise.

By all accounts FdJ was our priority, with a budget set we had to know his coat before committing to to other targets

We've moved quickly for Malacia as soon as the FdJ fee was agreed

I'd expect more in the next week or so, I reckon he wants everyone on pre season

As Utd fans we also pay more attention to Utd stories, more information drips out and it feels longer

There is a school of thought that we are hitting up the players and letting other clubs agree a fee with the clubs so we don't get Utd tax applied hence the hijack of Malacia and now trying to do it to Arsenal with Martinez

Same. The only times I've seen him play for Bayern he's looked incredible, admittedly only a few CL games I saw. Classic contract renewal pimping out though.

Quietly happy how we've been going about business even if the Kuala Lumpur Ultras are spamming United's social media posts about no signings. Seems like we're not being mugged off left right and crucially not centre.

I think we can expect a wave of transfers tomorrow, for a lot of clubs the financial year starts on July 1st.

Malacia is a good singing by the way; quick technical player, very confident on the ball.

With players currently bougth and still to be bought we can already see what EtH wants to achieve; a United that builds up better from the back.
