Potter ranks alongside Redknapp and Allardyce on my personal list of preferred options. I hope this is just paper-talk.

I've already backed Zidane or Simeone whistle
I think as supporters we have to readjust our sights a bit. We're not that club at the moment, people like this just aren't going to come so we have to be more realistic. These 2, even if they did consider, are going to want more money for transfers than we currently have.

The bookies have Simeone at the same odds as Wayne Rooney, which says it all on that one

According to Sky we've been in talks with Graham Potter.
This would be a shocker. But he also can’t be worse than Ten Hag.
He absolutely can and would be worse.
What an absolute disaster that would be-LVG mk2.

It shows a staggering lack of ambition at best.

On the left back situation instead to putting square pegs in round holes surely we have decent youth team players who could fill in, ETH doesn't seem to entertain the idea.
Whilst there are many things you can criticise ETH for ,not giving youth a chance is not one of them .

I meant that he doesn't seem to be entertaining the idea of putting a youth team player at left back.

It would be foolish to give. A young kid their debut against City at the Etihad. It could easily end their career, as they’d be bullied for the whole match.

I like Amorim from Sporting. Looks like a decent young manager. A strong team around him and the backing of the football side’s leadership to clear out and rebuild would be quite interesting.

You’d think so reading this thread.

Unless it’s a premonition of what’s going to happen post-City.

Pretty sure that’s exactly what everyone on here said when ETH was appointed.

Perhaps not the most inspiring list. Why is Tuchel on it, he seems toxic and pisses everyone off wherever he goes. We've already had one of those!

So you always seem to call for change Simon, but always say “ I don’t know who is available “ etc
Who would you choose from that list?

I’m sure we didn’t as nobody had really heard of him. Most wanted Poch, but were all 100% behind ETH when he was appointed. The concern is this year has been terrible. Performances have been woeful and there is no sign of any progress. Injuries are a poor excuse, as nearly every team is suffering but somehow manages to cope.

Anyway, aren’t you a scouser? I take it you’re here on a WUM.
