The team, stadium and park isn't ready for promotion. It's a great story for them, but Arbroath aren't going to add anything to the Premiership if they make it.
whats the script if Arbroath do get promoted? I assume they would need to ground share?Obviously we've moved on from the 10,000 seater rule, what is it now 6K ?

Unreal result tonight, one of the best.
Totally took control of the game at times and tactically outplayed Dortmund, the end of the first half they were totally on the ropes.
Every single player fought and played out of there skin. Morelos, bassey and Jack the absolute standouts in an already excellent team performance.

Incredible result last night which will be remembered for a long time. It wasn't just nabbing a goal on the counter to nick a win but scoring 4 goals away from home against the tournament favourites. Great stuff. Thanks to the coefficient points and other results going our way, Scotland now leapfrog Russia in rankings.
As a neutral, supporting the Scottish teams...
Rangers were very, very good. WInning the 50:50s and looking to get the ball forward quickly. Best game I've seen Kent play for ages and Bassey was immense. Just keep him at centre-back Gio.
Celtic were poor, nothing like their usual accuracy on penetration. Whether that was down to a bad day at the office, or (as I suspect) the sheer efficiency of Bodo, is debatable. That jammy third goal could be a killer. A tough match next week

Good news about all these great rangers results is celtic will certainly look to benefit from the automatic qualification to the champions league ironic really. hongkongdonkey said:
Last week Celtic fans fancied them to win Conference League and a massive number of bets were placed according to the bookies. They should really learn not to count their chickens too early and save the meltdowns that follow. How did that ten in a row song go again?
How does 'one in a row' go?DocJock said:

I thought lundstram was excellent for that last night, wasn’t afraid to get hurt and went in hard but fair, the tackle on Bellingham was 60/40 in bellinghams favour and he went in like a machine and won it, both giving each other a little high five after it Rangers were very, very good. You are wasting your time having anything remotely positive to say about the game or the club. If they were soundly beaten as many were hoping for, or if there was any disorder the usual suspects would be all over it like a rash. That said, a great performance that has pundits and experts from all around the world talking in positive terms about the Scottish game.

Midweek was great for Rangers and terrible for Celtic. Today is back down to Scottish football and the referees getting grilled. Most of it very unfair as per usual.
Making a huge issue over little incidents, handballs that weren't handballs, but ignoring the serious foul play. I don't think Ryan Jack can escape a ban for the second time in the last couple of weeks. The Dundee player with the elbow to wiped out Giakoumakis wasn't clever either.
Celtic still can't defend a set piece to save their lives. The first goal was schoolboy defending. The game was made unnecessarily tight. Dundee offered nothing for most of the game, but got two basic goals.
The Rangers game was the better one to watch. It was an entertaining game. Dundee Utd had a good spell in the first half where they could have had a couple of goals. They did defend a lot late in the game. Rangers were going for it, but it was lacking composure.
I do think scapegoating Diallo is cruel. He's a 19 year old youngster with little first team football experience. He's going to make mistakes.

I thought rangers played well yesterday, just one of those games where nothing comes off.
Madden had a horrendous game, two game changing moments and he never gave them for some inexplicable reason. Clear handball and the sakala getting pulled back by his shirt while he stands Infront of an open goal.
Also missed a potential sending off for mulgrew and a caution for Jack.
That being said United defended excellently yesterday and rangers can’t let it fall to refereeing decisions to win games, they need to put games to bed and correct the away form sharpish.

The decisions featured on sky's refwatch ( https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/footb...) and a red card and penalty to rangers according to Dermot Gallagher. You're right that rangers can't rely on referees to get it right but the refereeing performances in the Hibs, Hearts and now Dundee United games have been extremely poor.
