Earlier we had Dalzo and HDK desperately trying to justify the reason that Livingston's late equalising goal was chopped off against Rangers. Nobody could even see the hint of a push and Dalzo and HDK contradicted each other where the push was supposed to have happened. They were inventing things.

Now we can actually see that some pulling and pushing did take place they won't begin to see why the referee thought it was a foul. That's where they lose all credibility in their arguing.

It's soft, but it's not a clear and obvious mistake.

The level of meltdown as one understandably decision hasn't gone their way is incredible.

Johnston isn't trying to play the ball and has a hold of Morelos. Morelos tries to break free and Johnston makes the most of the contact and dives to the ground. It was such a bad decision Walker, Sutton and Hartson all think Celtic got off with it.

RefWatch
Makes the most of what contact? When Morelos pushes him? Cool, thanks for clarifying.

Welcome to professional football, you'll notice any contact means a player goes down. Surprisingly they do it even when there is no contact, like when Morelos took a dive to get Carter-Vickers a yellow card early in the game.

So far your own contributions to thread are trolling and trying to get a reaction.

Glad you mentioned the Clancy. There is normally a forensic analysis of every decision in a Rangers game and it seems to lacking after this game for some reason despite his decisions being the main talking point of the match. If Clancy had called the Morelos goal correctly then I don't think Rangers lose that match. The decision changed the momentum of the game.

Other than the two defensive mistakes there is a lot of positives to take from the game. The tactics were spot on as you said, and the performance was a major improvement over our last visit. Hopefully the right additions are made in the next transfer window.
Wonder why they don’t want to do the usual forensics this week laugh
Dermot Gallagher called the decision incredible, just about anyone that doesn’t wear green tinted spectacles can see how bad a decision it was. I think your right too it totally changed the game, we were on the ascendancy at that point.
It was never going to change the outcome of the title race but it shows that it’s simply up to the board and Ross Wilson to deliver the right players to Beale this summer

What a terrible, terrible take. What’s stopping other clubs seeking clarification? If clubs don’t want to seek answers then that’s there problem. You had Stuart kettlewell do it a few weeks ago and nothing was said of that then you argued when he agreed with the decision. Celtic also wrote to the sfa regarding a jota offside against Motherwell was that entitlement? His tweet smacks off someone to an axe to grind it’s almost like he’s had several humiliating climb downs previous

biglaugh Nobody is disputing Morelos pushed him. The issue is that he is being fouled before doing so.

I'm sure you could find plenty of examples of players taking advantage of Clancy throughout the batch. He's a very poor referee and well out his depth at this level.

They were jostling before the corner was taken, corner came in Johnston goes to clear, Morelos pushes him to the ground, the ball hits off Morelos’ shin and ends up in the back of the net.

We can go round in circles disagreeing but the fact Clancy blew so quickly means he saw the push and gave the free kick before the ball had even crossed the line.

Morelos was already running towards the corner flag before the whistle was blown. Johnston is pulling on Alfredo and he’s backing away at one point Johnston is near enough facing Alfredo as the ball comes in holding him.
Johnstone jumped to header the incoming ball and totally misjudged it.

Because Morelos used two hands to shove him.

Its very clear from the footage.

Not a good game tonight. Ross County had a lot of the ball, but did nothing with it.

Aberdeen's disallowed goal looked onside initially and the VAR justification hasn't convinced me otherwise. How do we go from goals that look onside disallowed, but goal clearly offside allowed elsewhere?

Another terrible decision to send Shinnie off. He clearly won the ball and was drawing his leg back. That was never a red.

Edit. After seeing more replays of the Shinnie incident he made more contact than I thought. That red will stand.

Was a very poor watch
Aberdeen missed Ramadani in the middle of the park , as for the two Var decisions
No offside and terrrible use of VAR
Shinnies red , not a red , Shinnie won the ball and his momentum took him through , definitely needs to be appealed.

4 Match ban after they appealed it (an additional one for a "frivolous" appeal
Remember when Kent punched Brown and it was appealed as Rangers claimed no contact the two match ban stayed at 2 matches

Robson has brought a lot of grit.

I thought Aberdeen were terrible for 35 minutes. After that they were the better team. They got the goals and had the chances to put some gloss on the score.

I'm still not seeing what people are seeing with Raskin. He looked out his depth again. Another bigger game that Tillman looked lost.

Celtic were poor yesterday. So much side passes with little effort. A team that looks like the season is over.

Ross County in real trouble now.
