Captain on Mitrovic for his double game week. Cue him to get booked and missed the second game through suspension.
That was my fear so Andreas got the (C)

If Mitrovic turns up, you might sprint past me,
He didn’t.

I have cash in the bank after dropping Salah for Fernandes. If Darwin blanks I might go for Kane. And then maybe take a -4 for Nketiah instead of Mitrovic.

Brought in Fernandes for Salah for the DGW. Rashford I already had and he's got the (C) for the DGW.

Same!
And me!
Me too! Either everyone did and you all profit or everyone did and no one gets huge points. You couldn’t really afford not to 8ncase he gets double digit hauls in both games.

Looks like I'm going to finish on 102 points. Rashford TC coming in Clutch again. I think this may be only my second triple points haul that didn't involve Covid in some way. GWR 265,658th. happy with that!

A pretty poor Afternoon by all accounts. CS mudded early on for my Arsenal defender and midfielder and Trippier. And Castagne on the bench too!

I've swapped Andreas for Enzo as he seems to be a regular. Will wait and see if Joao Felix is a regular starter and might chop Nketiah in for him if Chelsea start to gel.

Shaw doing these the business again.

Been a long time since in got such regular returns off United players!
26 points on my bench. Shaw included. My only hope is that Rico Lewis doesn't play on Wednesday against Arsenal or has an absolute blinder and scores or assists and gets a clean sheet. Which I find unlikely.

65 points and big red arrows, KDB saved what could have been a complete disaster though.
Finished on 75. Not a single green arrow and mostly reds. KDB and Haaland saving me along with the Pep roulette actually working for me when Rico Lewis didn't play in either game allowing Shaw to come in for 12 points.

Rashford, Fernandes and Kane rescuing my gameweek. Finished on 52 which, considering my poor score after Saturday's games, was a massive relief.

I've taken a -4 to get more players in for next week and I still have one on the pitch who isn't playing. Every other position has someone in it who is.

61 points here, mainly down to captaining Rashford instead of Haaland.

Three players out of the next round and only 1 transfer, not sure whether to take a hit or not.
I’d take a -4 to get a player playing a DGW. Even if they do nothing and don’t concede a boatload or get sent off it’s 4 points. They get any return then you’re up. Like many I’ve already used my freehit so I took a -4 to get Firmino, although not sure how wise that is given Jota is fit.

How, or more importantly what, is everyone doing this week? hehe

All week, I'd been contemplating just making two standard changes which I did on Tuesday, bringing in 2 Liverpool defenders without remembering that they were playing in midweek.... hey ho. Anyhow, this afternoon, I got hit by a bout of FOMO having seen so many people having multiple players playing twice this week.

So in the end, I played my wildcard and have ten players playing twice + Haaland. It could go either way, especially with an Everton keeper + a defender but fortune favours the brave.

Good luck everybody.
Taking out a player who blanks for one who has a DGW is a no-brainer, unless they do something drastic like concede 5, miss a penalty or get sent off. If they play twice and do nothing then you haven't lost anything (-4 for the transfer, 2+2 for playing twice) but then if they get a CS & an assist, using TAA as an example, then you're up compared to not making the transfer at all and your players not playing. Even Ben Crellin took a -12 to get a full DGW Roster.

Scored 62 which in a normal week would be decent. This week? Nope. GWR 8,490,734! Red arrows all over the place!

70 points thanks to Ward, Gakpo and Nunez and Mitoma. Would have been better with a decent captain choice instead of Kane but I cannot complain. Many green arrows and my best OR of the season.

Currently trying to work out if Liverpool are back and if I want to take a - 4 and get Salah back in.

Despite my best judgement, and Liverpool’s run of games and their blank game week, Salah is back in place of Rashford. United will struggle for confidence after that mauling. IMO.

That's one kneejerk too far surely? Liverpool have one easy game (maybe), one blank and three difficult games in a row. Compared to Brighton and Brentford who have 5 games in 3 weeks, would you not have been better off going for those players? Unless you have them already of course!
Given my OR rank and the need to push up I'm taking the risk. I may take, as you've said, a -4 for Liverpool's blank and then another to get two Liverpool players back in. Then bench Boost on Week 29.

69. Nice!

Could have been so much worse without Toney as captain. Only thing is, he’s one more yellow from an extended ban, 2 games I think. And if his ban for his betting transgressions is as long as some are saying, possibly even 12 months, I’ll need to swap him out.

Only 8 players playing next GW.

Like millions of other players, when Trippier had the ball in his hands we were all very excited. Then, those millions, including myself, howled and bayed at the screen when Isak took the ball off him.
