I fooking hate this game.

I blow a -4 to put Almiron in and try and field at least half a team and not 2 mins after I confirm it he pings up with an injury and only a 25% chance of playing!!!
3 weeks out
I did the same. So I'm down to 10 players at best then, because I've got another 2 players on yellow flags. So 8 players at the worst. Bloody game!
Ive got 9 at most!

Not taking the hit to try field 11, saving wildcard for the double game weeks.
GW29 is going to be the best DGW remaining, due to how the FA Cup fixtures panned out. All the remaining ones won't be as big.

Which really means you need(ed) to set up the team by GW28 so that you can BB in 29.

Could be though I believe there is another DGW 32 or 34 with teams like City and spurs so better sides with doubles.
I’m considering the bench boost for next week. Got. Eleven out this.

Speaking of which, is anyone else planning on costing themselves several lots of -4 to make sure they can BB with a decent amount of players? scratchchin

I think I will currently have ten players playing twice at the moment. Costing myself another -16 plus my free transfer could ensure I have all 15 players playing twice. Am sorely tempted.

ETA - if I did that however, three of the five players I'd be transferring out would be Arsenal who only play once but it's against Leeds Leeds Leeds. Odegaard & Saka v Leeds might end up with more points than two other midfielders that play twice that week.

I'm not sure that's completely correct.

GW32 is going to have blanks because of the FA Cup semi finals.

Spurs won't have any DGWs in the remaining fixtures.

All the FPL experts are saying that GW29 will be the biggest DGW of the season.

-16 is quite a punt eek I guess it depends what you are left with afterwards in terms of who you bring in and what their fixtures are.

I've been planning ahead a few rounds so not planning on spending any points to get through the blank and epic DGW, but it does depend on injuries and how the international break pans out. For example I have Estupinan and he is going to be flying back from Australia so there is a question mark over his minutes.

I have always tried to get 15 players playing in the past when using the BB, but I think I'm going to hold onto my Arsenal players this time though.

Yes, it would do. If I had done it, would have brought in two Newcastle, one Man U, one Leicester & one Brighton but getting cold feet now and most unlikely to follow through with it.... hehe

Like millions of other players, when Trippier had the ball in his hands we were all very excited. Then, those millions, including myself, howled and bayed at the screen when Isak took the ball off him.

It seems to be the latest fad in football. One player looks like he's going to take the penalty so takes all the st from the defenders & goalkeeper, looks after the penalty spot so it doesn't get roughed up etc then calmly hands the ball over to a team mate who bangs it home. Simples....

31 points with the Arsenal game to come. Looks like some low scores in the leagues this week so good damage limitation. My gamble on switching captain from Toney to Watkins paid off although should have gone for Kane with hindsight. Hoping for no injuries in the international break then its the big one.

Just 16 points so far this week which is still somehow "above average".... have the three Arsenal boys to play but unless they do really well, will be a disappointing week. Only had 9 players playing anyway & of the six that have already played, just two assists! Was due a poor week, will think out a strategy for the big one.....

How frustrating has it been to see Haaland play so well outside of the Premier league?! Why can't he score 5 goals in the PL and then follow it up with another hat trick like he has this week?!

26 points for me with 2(or 3 injury depending) Arsenal players to play.

38 points with 3 Arsenal players left which seems very good relative to others. Mings really came through with 12 points!

53 points in the end. Above average and pleased to have negotiated a tricky week. My gamble on Watkins as captain failed, congrats to those who captained Saka!

54 and will take that and move (win rival got 63 after captaining Saka while I chose Kane). Massive DGW next week and getting that captain choice right will be huge to maintain my lead. Squeaky bum time now with 10 game weeks to go till the end of the season.

60 points for me, a nice green arrow. Captaining Saka would have been ever better but can't complain too much.
I leaning towards not playing the bench boost for next week now, my current bench consists of Ward, Gabriel, Henry, Odegaard and I'd want to swap all 4 of them out for an ideal bench.

Disappointed with my 51

Small red arrow, but the risk of captaining Gabriel was a mistake. Cost me 16 points or so.

Bench boost does look likely next week as long as the internationals don't throw anything major up.
