I have no problem with Arsenal winning the PL if we cannot
Rather them than City. I think 3rd is all we can hope for now. City's fixtures are easy enough and Arsenal's goal difference means they can lose one and still finish ahead of us. Plus we'll probably drop more points.
Still, not a bad season given where we started from but next year could be interesting...
Arsenal definitely don't look like they will bottle it this season. As said, if we can't (and I don't think it's likely) then I hope they do.
I like Poch and feel a bit sorry for him but Chelsea is a poisoned chalice, it really is. Must be a mix of ego and money that makes anyone even consider managing them. I wonder if he too will be getting pushed out at the end of the season.

If I remember correctly, FSG have made 3 managerial appointments in their time as owners.
1. An elder statesman who steadied the ship on an interim basis.
2. An up and coming manager, one showing promise, with some success at a smaller club
3. A proven winner with experience of breaking a hegemony
I wonder if we'll see an experienced interim manager in place until we can land someone from category 3.

Being optimistic it's all to play for but being realistic of the 3 teams we're currently playing the third best football, that's a fact.
Indeed. And for much of the season. However, if VAR hadn't screwed us at Spurs, it really would still be all to play for and we'd have an advantage over Arsenal. There's not been much between the 3 clubs all season. Only really in the last few weeks - Arsenal are really coming on strong at the right time.
We...are not.
Quite so. For a transition season there have been a lot of positives - the kids came in when required and clearly know how the first team plays, and have the balls to slot in and not be overawed. Big plus. We even won a trophy, in a season where form for many has been up and down, and injuries have taken their toll.
Few expected us to finish as high as we have but most of us said "top 4" as a sign of a satisfactory season.
Next manager will have both the easiest and the hardest job. Inherit a great squad and then follow Klopp... They will need to be every bit as strong a character as JK, I think; the press will be merciless.

We could probably pick up Jose M. if we want a cat. 3 manager?1. An elder statesman who steadied the ship on an interim basis.
