Tight at the top.Even Villa are only 8 points back.
I note that Utd while having a few less points than last season at this stage they'd still be in the same spot even with those points added in.
Literally no progress, which is nice. Wherea's we're about 20 points better off than last season at the same stage.
What a season. Regardless of finishing position, it has been brilliant. To come from 5th to challenge for the title is outstanding.
Before the season started I was desperate for a back up RB to be signed and then I saw Bradley.
I felt we were light at CB and Quansah emerges.
Klopp has somehow turned Gomez into the new Milner.
He's also bought 3 midfielders for about £100M and meshed them into an excellent starting trio, developing Elliot and Jones further, so that they are decent replacements.
All credit to Klopp.

That was nervy.
I hope I'm wrong, but I fear that there will be a few more nervy afternoons and evenings to come...Possibly another five games in the Europa League, it would be a nice send off for Jurgen if Liverpool were to make it to the final in Dublin. Tickets will be like hens teeth if Liverpool get to the final.

And Ljinders, Krawietz and Matoz. And the rest of his team. He would say the same. But yeah, hell of a season given the predictions from most on here and the media generally (the latter of course being mostly clueless and writing us off as also rans based on last season). So many new and existing players have come on a hell of a lot in a short time. Before the season started I was desperate for a back up RB to be signed and then I saw Bradley.

Seriously Flip… how does Southgate fit in to any of the top clubs?
Despite having a fabulous pool of players to pick from, not only has he won nothing but England play turgid stuff most of the time.
He reminds me of Roy Hodgson… a lovely chap, but nowhere near a top level manager/coach.
I wasn’t championing Southgate. I just find it weird that England managers rarely these days walk into top jobs. Almost like to be England manager nowadays means you’re not good enough to run a regular top club.
