Well done Xabi. Fantastic achievement.
Amazing scenes over there, I watched the last 20 minutes. That's how to win a title.

Indeed. Will be interesting to see if he can now keep them motivated to go all season without losing a game in any competition as will be a hell of a treble if he does manage it.

And if Diaz or Salah do go in the summer, we need to do everything we can to sign Florian Wirtz. What a player.

An interesting watch, in parts - Gary Neville's The Overlap has restarted doing their 1 on 1 interviews and this one is with Trent. Some decent insight into how he's asked to play in the team, amongst other things.

Hopefully Real turn City over. Doing ok so far. Getting knocked will hopefully hurt them psychologically. Well... that's the thin slither of hope I'm hanging on too lol.

I can't stand RM but still satisfying to see City lose.

RM just find a way, they were second best for about 98% of the night.

Fabulous. Love to see City crumble. After playing extra time.

Only downside is... their next fixture is the FA Cup! Arghhhhh!!

Sort of meh for me tbh

We could have done with Arsenal and City staying in it (from a Prem perspective)

That said City must be knackered after that -and the Arse confidence will be dented

This plus the thought of cheating City winning the big treble twice in a row would be pretty bad, and I suspect they will win the FA and league so…..

Yay

Im flying to Milan at six, the last time I went to an away game with my friend Gerry we lost 3-0 at Barca, the omens aren’t good, especially that I gave my ticket away for the return leg at Anfield and Trent took a set piece rather rapidly and some lad called Divock broke Barca.
It’s the hope that kills you.

So who thinks we can pull this off tonight?

We'll need the Jan/Feb version of ourselves to turn up tonight to have a chance. We definitely don't want this extending into extra time with Fulham away on Sunday.

We've got the players to do it, just need to be a lot more ruthless in our finishing than we have been recently and more focused at the back. Could also end up with another embarassing loss of course..

Put out a strong side and go at them full throttle and who knows? We beat them 5-0 at their place last time we played them in the 20/21 CL. Need players to really step up tonight if we want to have a chance.

It can be done. We've done similar before. If we turn up, who knows. Not expecting it particularly, so if it happens it will be a nice surprise. I'll be watching with fingers crossed, regardless.

I just don’t know. I’ve been saying to anyone that will listen we are running on empty, look tired the last few weeks. The amount of chances created suggests otherwise. Stick a few of those away and it’s amazing how tiredness disappears.
So meh…. And maybe…

I’m expecting chaos of some form.

We desperately need an early goal before they score the inevitable goal they will get.

Who’s going to be Stevie and get the first ?

Is it fate Xabi got the 3rd and awaits in the Final ?
