Lots of possession, but we don’t seem to have much idea what to do with it.

Macalister at 6 is wasted. No width since Robbo and Salah went off. Too many easily defended aimless long balls up the middle.

Atalanta have been super organised and have mostly defended really well.

Disappointing, but the tie was lost in the 1st leg.

In other news, Leverkusen have done it again. Scored in the 91st minute to equalise against West Ham.

We've been scraping by quite a bit this season but things really have seem to gone awry from (during?) the FA Cup loss onwards. It's just strangely flat.

Having said that, there have still been enough chances to score the goals to win the lot.

I have to say that last 30 minutes was the worst I've seen for some time -passion wise

So frustrating with the lack of urgency. When we were quick and not letting Atalanta to get back then we looked ok but we just slowed it down and let them get organised. The ref needed to get a grip on the keeper time wasting but passing back to the keeper constantly and bit using the wide players was our undoing.

Mo's miss was terrible, he should have buried it with ease.

Klopp seems bemused. He needs to get Endo firing again and play Mac in his accustomed position. Nunez and Jota have to start against Fulham. Salah needs to be benched. Konate looks a shadow of his former self, Szoboszlai average again. Too many players just in a bad moment. We saw this last season too with Klopp unable to inspire, energise or uplift a poor performing team.

Yeah, I think the recent substitutions of Salah have been quite telling.
